We were asked to weigh in regarding a potential cheating allegation made on the game thread

No players were specifically specified (although some were heavily insinuated) and immediately it was stated to be "in jest". Given the context that it was a potential reason to not go ahead with a potential strategy and that it was stated that the player(s) in question would not require cheating to win we have decided that this was not an open cheating allegation and will not take any further action.

We don't condone this behaviour and remind everyone to try and avoid personal attacks/allegation etc. as it lessens the game. Further discussion on cheating via any means should be raised via PM to the GMs which will then be escalated as needed. My understanding is that all players reserve the right to escalate this to the Mafia Council if they wish. Considering that both council members are a part of this game I would recommend this be done after should someone wish to.
