Technically not disallowed by any written rule on WebDiplomacy, the WebDiplomacy forum, or the standard WebDiplomacy mafia rules. However, per rule 0 in general and rule 6 in specific, "If you are considering saying or doing something that may be against the spirit of the game, message the GM about it before saying/doing it and the GM will let you know whether it is allowed or not."

No, they talked about this, apparently gambling/betting is in some rule disallowed on Webdip, but there was no prosecution for betting Webdip points because there was no way to actually transfer them, so the interaction was judged to be spam/a joke.

Yep I was seeing in scumChaqa would take the opportunity to jump esp if EvC was SvS. I am now townreading Chaqa.

I believe he is the lover too. But he better die with one of the obvious next few kills, or else he becomes a suspect. At least I can take him out of the lynch pool.

Why did he have to reveal now though? He was already safe from the lynch by this point.

@flash: I was voting Dargo before this all happened. Other scumreads were Bozo and bo_sox. I haven’t read the last... dozens of pages yet though.

Really, lynching me probably isn’t that bad. My role is a bit of a liability for the town anyway and my lynch probably gives us an extra mislynch in the late game.

If you are a town liability, and you thought emc was town, why did you vote for emc to save yourself?

Hosuke obviously should not have claimed when he did as town or scum, I think it was a mistake he made as a new player. However, he was much more likely to mistakenly claim his real role as town than mistakenly fake claim a role as scum. However, even if you did not believe Hosuke, there was no reason to push it D2.

I agree, that's how I started D2.

I changed my mind when it became the only option (in my mind at the time) to save damo and Percy.

I don't think outing Fox was a huge deal, and the gains from catching scum Hosuke was worth the risk of outing the second mason.

He had pretty much revealed before the end, not explicitly but basically the only role he could be.

As I have said many times before, I don't believe in the creating of long elaborate cases on other people. I am much better (I think I am anyway) towards the end when we can rely much more on PoE.
