How do you search for a player?

I see quite a few people posting on here but I’m not quite sure how to search them and stalk their game history, or to send people messages on the non forum part of the site. I also am on mobile, is that part of the issue?

It's difficult and I haven't found a good way. The best I could do was searching for their name in the recent games tab, but that is tedious to say the least.

One suggestion I would have for site improvement would be to modify the current profile to include both forum and regular site info. The disjointedness between forum statistics and site statistics, as well as the separated PM system seems illogical to me.

Click on Help/Donate in the top right of the page, then scroll down to "Find A User"

As for sending messages via the old route, isn't that going to stop at some stage anyway? The way I've been doing it is catching people who have just posted, but to be honest the forum way is far easier.

Yes, at some point the old pm system will be removed and the two sets of profiles will become more integrated. No timelines on those yet though.

The forum message system sucks. It's in a tiny corner and only visible on the forum screen, whereas the old PM system is front and center on the home page if you receive a new message.
