I didn't play in last game, so I don't know the details, but just on principle I'm very much against excluding someone who, from my understanding, did not break any rules, was found to have not broken any rules, and simply is being punished because some people didn't like his play-style and because he won't make a very ridiculously-demanded public post saying he won't do it again?

I think excluding someone who hasn’t broken any rules is extremely rude, is all. I never liked how Maniac or brainbomb played, but you never saw me exclude them from my games. I’m pretty sure, had I done so, there would have been a riot or something. It’s actually really shameful that everyone is okay to exclude a player because they don’t like him

Think of it like the GMs are the hosts of a party and a bunch of people are showing up to their house for the shindig. The hosts spend a bunch of time cleaning the house, cooking flavorful food and making sure everything is ready for a good party that everyone will enjoy.

Then they find out that half of the guests don’t like one guy who wants to come. They guy isn’t a felon or anything, he’s just unpleasant and rude to the other guests. The hosts don’t want their guests to have a bad time, or their party to be ruined, so they decide not to invite him. Maybe when Bob down the street hosts a party then Bob can invite whoever he wants.

And then the other half the guests also dont play because they like that dude
So what are they gonna do?

Yea he put no one in cages, its just his policies that are putting people in cages(btw obama did the same exact thing, but it should still be fixed)
