Why do my send PM's go to ''outbox''?

I am not sure where i should put this, so i just put it here.

When i try to sent a PM to someone, they go to my outbox folder, and not to my 'sent messages' folder, why?

And a more inportant thing, does the message arrive at the person i wanted to send te PM to?

The message is sent no matter what.

The "Outbox" folder just signifies that anything in the "Outbox" folder has not been read by the recipient of your message.
