Squigs I think we should vote together. I don't really like the people on the ND wagon with me but I'm hoping it's because he's the BA. What are your thoughts.

I could definitely see Fox being BA with all the pushing on him, but the day where he went up against teacon doesn't feel like BA to me. Idk, I think Fox and ND both have high scum equity whether it is BA or mafia.

Fox why is the last 12 hours the only time this game you have been townie? Why actually provide content that makes sense now and not earlier in the game?

There's more to go on now, obviously. So even the dullest townies can come to game in this state and find things to solve.

But also less room for me to be cavalier about my lynch (compared to when I was up D4). When it was me vs. Teacon, I could afford to suggest we lynch me and have it be wincon compatible—eliminating scummy-looking players is a better move early on. But we are at what I believe to be LyLo for town, so I know that if we lynch me, we lose. Now, that gets into some WIFOM about why I switched my vote back to Teacon, so not useful outside my own head. But you asked and I'm speculating, and it's probably more that we are in the endgame and a great deal of the fog of uncertainty has been cleared away, and we can see a lot of the pieces and so of course it's easier to try to fit them together at this stage.

I'm paying attention to the thread, but have a lot of work tasks to finish up before the weekend, so I can answer questions more easily than I can go do a lot of rereading or collating information.

I think ND is the BA. I think Flavius, Connor, and Percy are the scum candidates, and I'm in a great deal of flux about how each should be considered.

I think Percy can be weird about ND whether ND is his scummate or BA.

The spreadsheet was kinda dumb, but it was based on POE that I made an effort to find. (And no, you can't solve the game like that, but it called Damo and Peter! And Teacon was in the not-scum end of the rankings, so that was right, too. But I'll resurrect it if Connor is also scum, since he was number 2 (you can see on p. 265) but I excluded him and Damo because of the RB situation.) It's all WIFOM of course, because I didn't explain what in particular made me exclude certain pairs of people. (If I were scum willing to do that kind of project, you'd think I'd have done that.)

Another point on this that I think is in my favor as not being scum: I produced a list on page 265 that had Peterlund as "indeterminate" (due to lurking/not enough data) and then subsequently upgraded him (based on a comment by Squigs) to the third scumread.

Again, the spreadsheet may be dumb, but if I'm scum, why did I go from a reads list that had Peterlund as unknown to Damo and Peterlund together in the top 3? If I had been scum, I should have been working to keep Peter hidden, and it would have been very easy for me to either ignore Squigs comment or massage the spreadsheet to keep him indeterminate.

Neither damo nor Peter were going to make it to the end game. Damo especially was highly scumread, but Peter was on multiple peoples scumlists. Bussing here would have definitely fit. If I recall correctly I even criticized the way in which you moved Peter up on your list, it was twisting what I said a bit, which would be consistent with the idea of you bussing.

Plus at that point you were about to be lynched. Your readslist there could have been a way to make Peter look good after your flip if you are mafia.

So you're saying I'm better at scum because I'm worse at it?

Also, "made it farther" is a terrible metric that does not reflect the low likelihood of being NK'd in general, or how Days 2-5 have played out here in specific.
