Still shows a good degree of lurking...ChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 5:59 pmYou made 149* posts in the first 2* days and 1* night you were active* (that's 120 hours) - in the first 47 hours of Day 4, you've made 107 posts (as a lynch candidate). If that doesn't highlight the degree you're lurking, than I don't know what does.

Oh, for gods sake, stop bitching about the Judge. It's getting to be repetitive to the point that it starts to sound like ND's constant bitching at the start of games.
Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
Thanks, Damo. This effort to appear "helpful" is... probably NAI. But I really want to scumread you for it.

wow interacting with chippe has really taught me how to control my temper. this is better than meditation

Judge is probably a town liability, but could be helpful in the right hands. don't forget that the bailiff started out knowing who the judge was, so that's a way to create clears.
@durga, if I made the case that it was someone not-durga that did it, would you consider whether or not Neph got played?

It takes until there's 2 hours left in Night 2 for the peterbot to max out @ 400kb on the content of my messages: http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?g= ... ChippeRock.
Durga, with 7.3% more posts than me, takes until halfway through Day 4 for peterbot to max out @ 400 kb on the content of her messages: http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?g=46&user=Durga
If that doesn't epitomize high volume, low content, I don't know what does.

@chip: How F-K can you fail answering the basic question on "whichever of damo/connor is town"?'ChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 5:36 pmWell, assuming you are town... If you're about to get lynched that would make it 7-4-1 - Mafia & BA NK us down to 5-4-1, 6-3-1, or 6-4-1 (correctly RB BA).teacon7 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 3:48 pm@flav

I have a strong guess as to the identity of the BA. Is it worth me guessing aloud about it? I don't want to give scum the right person to rb and potentially block them from killing off scum.
Giving scum the identity of the BA gives Town less risky Nights (BA could hit or miss) and gives us the identity of the BA for future lynch (or maybe we would do it the next day). But, if Town ever mislynches, we don't have the BA to fall back on - and makes the mislynch more deadly. However, the BA is prone to mis-NKs, so it's the same problem...
It's all about risk vs. reward honestly, I suppose it's your choice - but if you're not getting lynched, I would keep it to yourself for the moment (but maybe keep the post drafted up and ready to submit in the last minutes in case someone last minute switches wagons and lynches you).

Funny, I don't recall complaining about game mechanics.Durga wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:26 pmfunny coming from you buddyChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:25 pmOh, for gods sake, stop bitching about the Judge. dude, neph is the person who picked et vs EP without any prompt. have you considered that maybe he just has bad reads??teacon7 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:27 pmJudge is probably a town liability, but could be helpful in the right hands. don't forget that the bailiff started out knowing who the judge was, so that's a way to create clears.

also, both of you were pretty scummy so it's actually not that bad. even if you both somehow end up as town, i think his guesses were fine.
unfortunately, this power sucks and if we just waited a bit longer we'd have the ACTUAL showdown between connor and damo which is the only thing the judge power is useful for.
Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
Yeah I can see that now. Bit stupid of me. Looks scumissimo I know but was just kinda stating the obvious which obviously needn't have been stated. Oh dear. I'm worse sober than drunk.

I fail to see where this question was addressed to me. You mind quoting that post that asked me that?peterlund wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:27 pm@chip: How F-K can you fail answering the basic question on "whichever of damo/connor is town"?'ChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 5:36 pmWell, assuming you are town... Also, I really don't know - I really don't know which one is faking the RB, and there's no evidence to prove or disprove either of the two, but my leading theory is that they both are scum (sacrifice one to "clear" the other). But that theory is just a theory, and I really don't have any strong guesses on who's lying and who's not.
Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
quality over quantity, bitch. you've done nothing for town but whine and complain and hurl abuse at players. no ~ one ~ likes ~ you. not one player would enjoy playing with you again. figure your shit out and get over yourselfChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:27 pmWhile we're on the topic of lurking:ChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:24 pmStill shows a good degree of lurking...ChippeRock wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 5:59 pmYou made 149* posts in the first 2* days and 1* night you were active* (that's 120 hours) - in the first 47 hours of Day 4, you've made 107 posts (as a lynch candidate). yeah, I think neph has bad reads anyway. d2 might have been his own fault, might not have been. to clarify... what I asked though was: did neph get played/influenced d4?

Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
He used them at good times. Also, it's not that he thought et and EP were scum, it's that he thought they were being overlooked (and that potential scum was being overlooked) - he forced us to examine both of them carefully, and in the end we only mislynched a town VT. Also, he provided us with some direction that day (really, tell me who we were going to lynch that day) and allowed us to see how we split up over the two candidates - giving us information for later in the game.Durga wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:29 pmdude, neph is the person who picked et vs EP without any prompt. have you considered that maybe he just has bad reads??teacon7 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 6:27 pmJudge is probably a town liability, but could be helpful in the right hands. don't forget that the bailiff started out knowing who the judge was, so that's a way to create clears.

Just because it ended up with a mislynch doesn't make it a bad move.
