There’s a new opening in the old folks’ home. Poor Chaqa just couldn’t go on living after the last hair on his head fell out. He loved that old mullet like that Camaro, and the sight of both going first... just too much for him to bear.

@President Eden: Some of the town players found my vote switching suspicious, so brainbomb tried to take advantage of that by setting me up as the D2 lynch even before the D1 lynch results were revealed. It seems to me brainbomb knew Durga was going to flip town and was trying to direct attention away from himself onto me because he thought he could get enough town players to vote for me.

What changed that? What info did you get from rereading how EoD went down with Durga getting lynched?

@President Eden: The players who I am assuming were town that found me suspicious include you, rdrivera and thamrick, but none of you were strongly pushing my lynch, but brainbomb starting pushing hard to get me lynched D2 without ever giving a good reason.

Before Durga flipped town, brainbomb said:

After Durga flipped town, here are some of brainbomb first comments N1:
"K bozo is scum 100%

...why would bozo's attempt to prevent a mafia wagon from tying with another player's wagon be considered suspicious to you?

The logic holds up after you know Durga flipped town, but you said this before she did, when you had stated you believed she was mafia.

More importantly, how do you feel about bozo's observation about brainbomb's behavior near EOD1/start of N1? I thought it was a pretty good point.

Obviously any standalone theory is total WIFOM but it'd be a shame just to let her thoughts go completely to waste.

Turns out she basically has an "ISO" of sorts because she's only ever posted on this website's forum in this game, so looking at her thoughts was pretty easy to do.

Also she was very clear about where she stood. Sorry for wall of quotes but there's no spoiler feature that I know of.

I voted rdrivera near the end because I thought he was a better choice than ghug or Durga.

My first choice was bozo, but I was the only one there, so I switched to rdrivera since Durga was there to see if that would happen. He was the other person I had suspicions of d1

I'm going to ##vote rdrivera because a couple of pages ago he said he was voting for President Eden, with that rationale that he [President Eden] is voting everyone and looking really scummy. There doesn't seem to be any conviction to his vote and he isn't pushing Eden either.

I started rereading and unironically totally forgot this had ever happened.

@Pouncy Silverkitten: I tried to start a wagon on rdrivera, but ghug already had two votes, so now we have two equal wagons.

I am not trying to distance myself from a mislynch, I am trying to determine the best lynch. If we do mislynch someone, we should at least try to get any information we can from it.

I pointed out the error with this at the time, albeit very poorly on a phone: the whole assumption behind the notion of using voting patterns and competing wagons to gain alignment information is that the votes themselves are sincere representations of a player's suspicions, and not strategic votes for the purpose of creating compelling wagons.

bozo, what were you trying to accomplish by strategic voting to set up particular wagons on ghug and rdrivera? What did you learn from doing this?

You literally voted for everyone last round. No conviction in your votes, and you didn't even have consistent reasoning for your votes.

You said you were voting to get info, but you never actually got info from your votes. But you kept doing it.
