And Balki didn't flip his vote.
I think that's why both teacon and xorxes are mafia.

More Balki re-read gems:

Just prior to EoN2, he posts some reads, with his scumlist as Xorxes, Fox and TrPrado.
He does his BA claim thing that still has me in awe.
Next time that he lists his scumlist, he only lists Fox and teacon.
"Rules out" some scumpairings: Xorxes & Percy, Peter & Flavius, Fox & Flavius. Some level of wifom in here.
Adds the pairings of ND/Chip/Flav, and et/connor
Gives a townread of Percy.
When the vote is 3/2 Xorxes over Fox, he votes for Xorxes.
His next post gives a scumteam of "Xorxes, Flavius, Damo, ND, teacon, and maybe et?"

Urges town to stay on Xorxes. At this point, teacon and Fox are the other two viable wagons.

Overall, his D3 is probably the hardest to read into, because he knew he was not going to survive long. His Fox and teacon interactions are interesting, but overall I think Balki's actions make sense both if Fox or teacon are mafia or not. He played a pretty wifomy D3. If I was forced to get a read out of his D3 I would say overall Fox looks worse and damo looks better though.

See this is sort of my point from earlier. Balki knew he was going to die to the real BA. He knew that as soon as he claimed BA. So all of D3 and N3 was spent laying loads of misdirection, and fishing for PR and the real BA.

How do we make sense of EoD3?
If we infer that damo looks better post-d3, it's because we think Balki was trying to save xorx.
If we infer that damo looks worse post-d3, it's because we think Balki was trying to "clear" him in the long run, by making him the alternate "please don't lynch xorx, lynch this rando instead." If you accept the notion that Balki spent D3 fishing for PR and laying down misdirection, it's very plausible that he set up scum!damo as an alternate wagon to xorx because he wanted damo to look better after he and xorx flipped.

if you reread the happenstance of balki voting damo, it was pretty circumstantial. It's not like he'd be scumreading damo, he basically convinced rdriv to follow him for towny looking late-day movement. Damo happened to pop on and say some stuff right when balki was looking to make late wagons. maybe you read that differently, I don't know. The point is:

Balki spent time voting damo in order to stay off of other wagons: teacon/fox/xorx. Balki knew how the flips were going to go. So he stays off of teacon and fox because he wants us shaded D4. (If both teacon/xorx were scum... the only scenario I can see scum bussing xorx would be if teacon was hooker. I know I'm not, so I'm dismissing the point, but you should probably consider it at least.) I don't know why balki didn't move to fox - perhaps foxcastle is the hooker and balki needed to create other options? Or teacon/fox were the setup

Fox had some voters, but they largely left. teacon had voters, but the wagon wasn't going to compete with xorx's. If Balki wanted to save xorx, he could have tried to get motion onto fox or me... but it wouldn't have mattered. Balki was going to die, and xorx would have swing d4 anyway.

As it is, I'm seeing balki's EoD behavior in light of two things: he knew he was going to die, and he knew he wasn't going to save xorx. that means he tried to set up me and fox. Damo only looks slightly better, depending on why you think balki tried to get motion on to him.

If either one of you is the town's Innocent Child, I suggest you reveal yourself - otherwise a would-of-been-confirmed town (i.e., you) has a very good chance of getting lynched rather than someone who is at least less likely to be town (i.e., they wouldn't be GM confirmed to be town, so thus have a chance of being scum).
