No, while alive, the Assassin is the one that is performing the mafia NK. If they were lynched D1, then the NK would've become a factional and the mafia team would decide who would carry it out.

The Car Bomb was a one-time set that, once planted, could not be moved or removed. The ONLY way to avoid dying was if the target was put in jail (you can't be in your car if you were in a jail cell).

i think its a VERY bold move for the assassin to use the car bomb d1 without consulting with their teammates. they only two scum that had any say in the use of the car bomb were the assassin and the secretary.

Also, this is probably a long shot, but a couple of people should scrub Tom's ISO as closely as possible for any crumbs that he was the reporter. He has crumbed in the past. If scum picked up on something, that could have determined the NK with janitor and given scum-rdrivera cover to claim.

I misinterpreted the original question from Durga - I was under the assumption she was referring to if the bomb target was lynched and not the assassin. The assassin's bomb was not dependent on them being alive.

Do I need to clarify further than this?
