The Judge sat on the bench, glaring down at the man behind the stand.

“State your name for the court!” The Judge demanded.

A shrill old man strains to speak. “My name is…”

“HOLD IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” The Judge screams. “Your name is irrelevant! You are charged with the crime of committing the murder of my Bailiff! What is your defense!?”

The old man starts to speak again. “Well your honor, I was….”

“IRRELEVANT DEFENSE!” The Judge shouts. “YOU ARE GUILTY OF THE CRIME! And because what I say goes, be gone and enjoy your death sentence! Let the other suspect go, we’re done here.”

The old man begins crying as he is dragged out of the courtroom. Another person jumps with glee and runs out of the courtroom before the old man makes it to the door. As the old man is dragged past, Phoenix and Maya walk past him and into the room. The Judge sees them and motions for them to come to the bench.

“Good, you’re finally here! Now we can really start finding those people out to get you.” The Judge says to them.

Phoenix scratches his head “Who was that old man?”

The Judge waves his hand in a dismissive way. “He was clearly the man who planted that car bomb that almost killed you. Even though he could barely move without a walker and barely had the use of his hands, he looked fishy….”

Phoenix sighs and shakes his head...
