But you aren't answering my question.
I see HOW it developed.
But your first sentence is where my issue is.
I see all that you tried to do to not lynch Flav. I see that bozo wasn't your top choice.
But I don't get WHY you 'needed' to save Flav.
"Because I didn't think he was scum" doesn't help me.
THIS much effort implies more surety than I think is possible this early.
I knew both me and bozo are town, I didnt want to die though
So I tried for the last two hours to get TrPrado lynched, when I got on
We had more than enough time to do it, but I wasnt convincing anyone
Carl kept bouncing back and forth and finally stuck to his guns with TrPrado
we picked up connor and at the end Tom too
I think the four of them all switched over to bozo, instead of letting me die, was because we all wanted to kill TrPrado.
Im not going to put words in their mouths but, no one needs to be kidding yourself, if you thought bozo was a scum, you tried to lynch a lurker.
I believe if we had an extra hour we could have lynched TrPrado, which is why you should join us now.

These last two pages have convinced me Foxcastle, is now scum, not reading EoD is a bigCarl Tuckerson wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 6:35 pmIt's literally what happened.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:57 pmThis does not strike me as townie.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:53 pm
Look, there were 7 votes on Flav, and 3-4 on bozo. 90% of those players were offline, and it was clear none of them were going to switch wagons. Those that had their votes on 3rd party wagons tended to be offline, and those that did come online only did so in the very last minutes when it was too late to figure out whom they were planning to vote.
Due to that inflexibility, my block of 4 - after originally trying to get Prado lynched - switched from Prado to bozo, 1) because the Prado wagon wasn't going anywhere and the Flav wagon still had a big lead and 2) because bozo's voters were all offline, so they weren't going to make Prado's wagon the counterwagon to Flav's lynch and 3) although all 4 of us didn't read bozo as our biggest scum targets (a good portion of us read him as town), we thought lynching Flav was an obvious mislynch, and there was a greater chance of mislynching Flav than mislynching bozo.
I'm not going to try offering up an explanation for others outside of my group of 4, but that was our group's general motivation (stated above).
If bozo's wagon had been online, I hope we would of been able to get them onto Prado's wagon - but since such a huge amount of people were offline/inflexible at EoD, we had to make do with what we had and lynch the most scummy of the two.
IMPORTANT NOTE: At the time my group of 4 switched from Prado to bozo, we DID NOT know that others would switch their vote. As I recall, Tom, rdrivera, & Neph all showed up really last minute and unexpectedly (to the 4 of us) and switched their vote to bozo.
We were not aware we might of had the votes to get a Prado wagon lynched, because Tom, rdrivera, & Neph all just showed up last minute, and they didn't really show many indications that they were going to switch their vote (well rdrivera showed he would vote bozo, but than he switched his vote due to misinformation from Flav - and we weren't sure if he would switch it back).
It's easy to say in hindsight that we could of gotten another wagon who we felt more confidently was scum lynched - but we waited until the last 2 minutes to try to rally up support for the Prado wagon. And only changed our votes to bozo because, even though we all felt bozo was probably town, he was less likely to be town than Flav.
I'm getting real fuckin sick of your drive-by comments when you obviously haven't read a lick of EOD.
You are not acting in good faith.

How can you not read such a big moment of this game??

You would of thought he could of spent that time trying to convince Prado & bozo voters why Flav should be lynched...xorxes wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:28 pmYou seemed to be having fun commentating at EOD, like any outcome was good for you.
Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
I disagree with your characterization. It was simply out of my hands, and I was being sardonic after the direction of EOD turned against my preferred lynch toward someone I town read.xorxes wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:28 pmYou seemed to be having fun commentating at EOD, like any outcome was good for you.

Surely in the last hour, between those 1-2 sentence posts you made that were 5 minutes apart, you could of solidified Flav's scum case?ChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:32 pmYou would of thought he could of spent that time trying to convince Prado & bozo voters why Flav should be lynched...

Don't apologize, I love witty barbs like that, even I got a chuckle out of that. Always fun coming up with comebacks to them as well (don't take my comeback to your post too seriously).Foxcastle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:34 pmI apologize. Chippie needs to be lynched immediately; he is a deceitful little cuss who deliberately obscures the thread and has been proven to have lied about his logic. He is literally a horrid human being and honestly probably the biggest piece of scum in this game.
I have written at length about how he has lied and obscured facts
I have written at length about how he has been deceitful
I have proven numerous times and caught him in these lies; he only backpeddles when this happens
He is utter scum and a true example of filth.

Also, this Flav-Chip thing is interesting. Flav imo looks like he is sucking up to Chip so hard rn. I don't get it. But has to be noted.

It was a bad night and yeah my read was wrong. The difference between my push on Cruaader and Chip's push on Bozo was that Chip was an important player in getting one of the best players on this website, Bozo, killed for no reason.
He then says: "Except all of the reads I've made have been flipped and shown to be correct." (Chippie, 103)
Wow. I guess he knew Bozo was going to flip town then, but voted him anyway. No one is going to freaking question this quote? Jesus Christ.
Look, if we don't get our act together and aggressively go after this guy then we are lost. I implore everyone to look at this guy and re-read Bozo.

OK, finished my iso of Fox. Some scummy things in there, but nothing terribly condemning. I'm keeping my vote on Percy for now.

for me
How can you not read such a big moment of this game??
A) Foxcastle never said that he disagreed with an accounting of the events, simply that the way Chippe related the events was not townie. Chippe incorrectly inferred that FoxCastle disagreed with his accounting of the events, and it looks like you took what Chippe said at face value without looking at the facts.
b) Foxcastle was on and posting during EoD, so he obviously read it.
Stop taking everything that you read that you like at face value and parroting it to suit your interests.

My comment got stuck in another flipping quote.

Trying to find the motivations behind scum when we have yet to catch scum. It’s an exercise in futility. Maybe we can look back on it, but we’re in D2.EspressoPatronum wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:15 pmYou wrote like 3 novels worth of wall post reads, but digging into the motivations of NKs is giving you a headache? Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
@ND - do you agree with Bozo's argument that mechanically Chippe cannot be a VT?
Re: Mafia 46 - Ace Attorney - GAME THREAD
Not necessarily, I agree with Bozo that Chippie is scum though. I don't think that agreement has to be paired to his argument.

You just said:
So I was wondering why you want us to re-read Bozo when basically the only thing he did was push that argument against Chippe. Was there something specific we are supposed to look for when re-reading Bozo?

Yes, and you seem to have ignored the repeated times I explained why I voted bozo even though I felt he was more likely to be town than scum. But carry on, that contradicts your scum read.ND wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 10:39 pmChippie needs to be lynched immediately; he is a deceitful little cuss who deliberately obscures the thread and has been proven to have lied about his logic.
