This looks like something that scum would say. Not sure exactly why. I just feel like I've been on scum teams on which my partners have posted these messages all the time.Percy Williams wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 1:10 pmGosh, I made it to 90, and y'all need therapists and anger management. I'll catch up completely approximately 6 hours from now.
Maybe it's because it sort of sweeps away so many pages like it doesn't matter. Feels like it comes from someone who just did a lot of skimming. Not so say Town doesn't skim, especially with the kind of drivel around page 90, but this feels like scum to me.

I tend to agree with you. I think are too many people just coasting in this game (natural in such a big game) and at least one or two are scum. Percy is a good candidate because I just didn't remember nothing from him but when I looked at the bot he had 157 posts. It would be fun if he is the Lawyer....Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:06 pmThis looks like something that scum would say. Not sure exactly why. I been here. And you’re town until you’re not, which is kinda always my read on you. Though you do seem somewhat chiller this game than previous (as scum or town). So far.Balki Bartokomous wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:12 pm@Foxy Knoxy, where you been all game?

I took a bunch of cold medicine this morning and now I think it’s Durga, Rdrivera, Trprado, and Flavius.

I've explained repeatedly why we saved Flav - several have given similar explanations. Did you read my response to Balki's questions?dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 12:17 pmI will write Chippe, Carl (who is not my buddy, apparently,) and Prado when I have a chance... but in reading the overnight, I have this concern.
I do not understand the fury and flurry to save (or at least not lynch) Flav. He had not, to my knowledge, breadcrumbed. (If he did, don't mention it!) IF players thought he was town, weren't there more obvious scummies to counter with? As someone said, the bozo-voters were not voting for their top scum read.
Think about it this way, mebbe... if bozo had his head in the noose all day, would those same folk screamed to save him, as an obvious mislynch?
If it seems like the defense of Flav was disorganized, though, remember that scum only have a secretery at that point...

It’s basically that you very strongly believe Flavius to be town and somewhat weakly thought Bozo was scum. Right?

Aye... but there's the rub. "Very strongly believe Flavius to be town..." It is day 1. The Flav-defenders fought WAY too hard for this. Gut feelings are great, but only scum KNOW anything Day 1.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:42 pmChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:33 pmI've explained repeatedly why we saved Flav - several have given similar explanations. Look, there were 7 votes on Flav, and 3-4 on bozo. 90% of those players were offline, and it was clear none of them were going to switch wagons. Those that had their votes on 3rd party wagons tended to be offline, and those that did come online only did so in the very last minutes when it was too late to figure out whom they were planning to vote.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:33 pmI've explained repeatedly why we saved Flav - several have given similar explanations. Due to that inflexibility, my block of 4 - after originally trying to get Prado lynched - switched from Prado to bozo, 1) because the Prado wagon wasn't going anywhere and the Flav wagon still had a big lead and 2) because bozo's voters were all offline, so they weren't going to make Prado's wagon the counterwagon to Flav's lynch and 3) although all 4 of us didn't read bozo as our biggest scum targets (a good portion of us read him as town), we thought lynching Flav was an obvious mislynch, and there was a greater chance of mislynching Flav than mislynching bozo.
I'm not going to try offering up an explanation for others outside of my group of 4, but that was our group's general motivation (stated above).
If bozo's wagon had been online, I hope we would of been able to get them onto Prado's wagon - but since such a huge amount of people were offline/inflexible at EoD, we had to make do with what we had and lynch the most scummy of the two.
IMPORTANT NOTE: At the time my group of 4 switched from Prado to bozo, we DID NOT know that others would switch their vote. As I recall, Tom, rdrivera, & Neph all showed up really last minute and unexpectedly (to the 4 of us) and switched their vote to bozo.
We were not aware we might of had the votes to get a Prado wagon lynched, because Tom, rdrivera, & Neph all just showed up last minute, and they didn't really show many indications that they were going to switch their vote (well rdrivera showed he would vote bozo, but than he switched his vote due to misinformation from Flav - and we weren't sure if he would switch it back).
It's easy to say in hindsight that we could of gotten another wagon who we felt more confidently was scum lynched - but we waited until the last 2 minutes to try to rally up support for the Prado wagon. And only changed our votes to bozo because, even though we all felt bozo was probably town, he was less likely to be town than Flav.

I believed Flavius was more likely to be town than bozo - but I felt both were town. But, since nobody was joining our Prado wagon, I switched my vote to the statistically better choice: the person who was more scummy out of the two realistic options.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:50 pmAye... but there's the rub. This does not strike me as townie.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:53 pmLook, there were 7 votes on Flav, and 3-4 on bozo. 90% of those players were offline, and it was clear none of them were going to switch wagons. Thanks again, chippe...
But you aren't answering my question.
I see HOW it developed.
But your first sentence is where my issue is.
I see all that you tried to do to not lynch Flav. I see that bozo wasn't your top choice.
But I don't get WHY you 'needed' to save Flav.
"Because I didn't think he was scum" doesn't help me.
THIS much effort implies more surety than I think is possible this early.

Yes, Foxy.... sorry... I should have posted that on chippe's post just above. I was 'adding' to your question, and that wasn't sharp of me.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:55 pmCan we please learn not to answer each other’s questions or taint the answer to these kinds of inquiries?dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:50 pmAye... but there's the rub. How much effort did I put into it again? I put most of my effort into getting Prado lynched. Than, with 2 minutes to go, and our wagon going nowhere. I switched to bozo for the aforementioned reasons and urged my fellow 3 to do the same.dargorygel wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 3:57 pmThanks again, chippe...

That doesn't seem like a shit ton of effort to me. Perhaps you could educate me on where in that did I put a shit ton of effort into lynching bozo?
