The Bailiff does in this game.Percy Williams wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:23 pmFrom my limited knowledge on bailiffs, I don't think they actually jail people. I could be wrong on that, but in my previous games I did the same thing with "Doctor" when it was actually medicine man or something. I just simplify names to make sense to me, because I can't be bothered to memorize the technical role names for every game. But I've never played with a jailer before, so I don't know if it's normal.

Why? Someone who makes a solid argument for a scum read without voting for that person is necessarily their scum teammate? I don't think you think that.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:10 pmOh boy, I swear if you dont have the best reason in the world for not voting TrPrado I just found his teammateCarl Tuckerson wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 4:15 amPost some reads and ask some people questions about their reads. You’re doing this bizarre bit like an umpire where you give impartial judgments on how people are arguing but you’re ultimately just standing there and not advancing either team’s win condition. It’s like watching a shortstop call balls and strikes. Less coaching more doing please
I find the argument made by Carl here to be a strong one. I actually appreciate you quoting it because it rings true to me, and I find myself nudging my read on Prado Scumward. Though, your push on him mitigates that a bit too.
But, either way, Carl's argument looks sincere to me, and I don't think we can draw any conclusion from the lack of an accompanying vote every time someone has a strong reason for a scumread.

Last game I had a gut feeling Damo was scum in D1 and he really was. Obviously it doesn't mean I am right now, but I started to have more confidence in those feelings.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 4:55 pmCan you expand on this? What worked with Damo?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 4:51 pmI have a gut feeling Fox is scum. Last game it worked with Damo.

By all means, get in here and vote. Vote based on anything at all that occurs to you. Just put your thoughts down on the page.

1) k?FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:17 pmLet me finish rereading the game first...you should do the sameTrPrado wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:06 pmWhat questions? Can you please repeat them here? I haven’t really reread the game so I may have just missed it. I also asked Squigs to do the same because I haven’t gone back to see what he asked me either.FlaviusAetius wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:05 pm
I honestly think Chippie just doesnt know what to do
He's being super vague which is really weird, but anyone who votes him on the first day, well thats a mistake
I want answers from TrPrado and he has offered nothing, also I havent gotten to the point yet but why switch @carl??
You were on TrPrado too then you just hop off, like what?
But
1) You just wanted a joke phase![]()
2) You didnt even want Squigs to explain about his dude
3) You conveniently forgot everything about Squig's dude
4) You wanted zero lists to be made
5) Just asking questions, not providing anything, obviously a scum
6) You voted on an easy Chippie wagon with NO EXPLINATION
7) You asked what AI is yet you are giving lessons to people, what??
8) You said you'd post reads, yet you arent going to reread the game??
Answer this all and why
2) that’s not what I didn’t want him to explain. I didn’t want him to explain why he townread me and scumread you. It was pretty obvious to me and to Balki but you seemed very upset by it. I wanted you to puzzle it out for yourself because it was entertaining. And like page 2 or 3
3) I didn’t forget. I just never cared. What’s so convenient about it?
4) if all lists are gonna be like yours then sure. Nobody making a list is better than everyone posting vague and incomplete lists that have no explanation
5) I fundamentally disagree with the premise of your argument, there’s very little in terms of questions that are actively unhelpful. I’m trying to puzzle players out so I can try to figure out the game
6) correct
7) my mind went to artificial intelligence, I also don’t remember anyone ever using that lingo in that abbreviation when I played last
8) I didn’t say I WON’T reread. I said I haven’t. We’re not even 24 hours into the game. And if you want me to post a list (a better list) I’m not doing that for at least another 24 hours either.

In my head, I have a rough clump of "People who should be doing more," and you are squarely in that clump. Just an FYI.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:41 pmLast game I had a gut feeling Damo was scum in D1 and he really was. Technically, no. But he can realistically vote No-Lynch and basically abstain from the vote - or vote for somebody without any votes to their name.

It is much, much, much, much x 100000 better if he just votes for his best guess, even if he doesn't have much confidence in it, even if he hasn't read/analyzed the whole game.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:47 pmTechnically, no. I mean, he should of known what he was signing up into. Since he's a new player, I really don't think his vote would be super helpful to town one way or another since he's more likely to lynch someone that everybody else is all worked up about lynching - he's most likely going to exhibit herding behavior when making his vote. That does nothing for town - about as much as a No-Lynch does.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:49 pmIt is much, much, much, much x 100000 better if he just votes for his best guess, even if he doesn't have much confidence in it, even if he hasn't read/analyzed the whole game.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:47 pmTechnically, no. If he read up on the whole thread, that's when I think his vote will become more important. But again, he should of known that he would have to read a lot of posts.ChippeRock wrote: ↑Tue Jun 04, 2019 5:52 pmI mean, he should of known what he was signing up into. Flavius is either scum intentionally misreading what I say and trying to get me to be an easy lunch on gotcha questions or he’s an absurdly over tunnelly town who’s scum read me from my first post. Either way it’s not good.
