No it doesnt surprise me, he's simply just muddying the waters its a fact.

Also, me you and teacon being scum is simply impossible.
We have all done too many things that just wouldn't make sense for teammates to ever do.
Also do note this, something that I think we made a mistake on;
The mafia had the QT open for the entirety of the night, so while we were grilling teacon, he could have been feeding stuff to his teammate to say.

If you truly believe teacon is a scum as I do, who has been likely influenced by him the most during the night? And actually posted stuff besides us three?

Bozo.
teacon feeding bozo what to say... interesting theory.

Maybe it was a good thing we grilled him during the Night?
Someone had to expose themselves with him.

In our last game, when we shared a QT, was there anyone feeding anyone else what to say? No, right?

Why do you imagine this time it's different? Last game was your only QT experience, wasn't it?

Why is this game suddenly so dead? I was expecting to have something to read this morning when I went to bed last night and I only find one post from Flavius?

I know the game has been solved already, but if scum is not going to concede we have to go through the motions and vote. I'm willing to hammer teacon if there's interest.

Just because I am casually dying IRL doesn't mean everyone else is -where'd everyone go?

Also Flavius, if you think bozo could actually be scum, elaborate a bit and make a case? :D

Correct @xorxes
What makes me think why that happened was because during this night phase, there was literally a full out grilling of teacon, he had the opportunity to do things like making up a plan in a QT.

While for us, there wasn't even much talking in the QT, and mostly people didn't talk during the night phases.

So what did bozo say that looks like teacon may have induced him to say? You need to be more concrete with evidence, not just throw ideas into the air to see if they catch on.

So basically, you're scumreading people for talking at night? If anything, wouldn't it be more reasonable to think that the quiet people at night are more like to be scum, since they've devoted activity towards talking in night chat...? I'm just not following along completely the line of reasoning, haha

Bozo.
I don't feel like he's really "muddying the waters", but simply entertaining the fact that there could be other options that the majority presented one - which I feel like there hasn't been enough of this game lol

the thread has been pretty dominated by variations upon xorxes vs teacon, and not that much else (which I still feel like makes the both of them somewhat suspicious, since their actions haven't really matched what they claimed - but since they drove activity, it is true that it was difficult to comment on much else, so perhaps not that much).

Also where are all the tinfoils? Why has no-one thrown out any except for me...

Emc, which actions have you noticed that didn't match which claims? If you leave it vague like that someone might think you were just trying to muddy the waters... :o

I have no problem in being lynched before teacon if that's what it would take, although it would be ridiculous.

Vote for teacon people.
Not gonna happen today. Might as well go for Vashta unless you want Durga dead.
I don¿t care between Vash and Durga, neither is likely to be scum.
@xorxes: When Durga finally switched her vote to Vashta with 2 minutes or less until EOD to tie the vote at 4-4, you posted right after her saying you did not have a preference between Durga and Vashta. Were you concerned about a tie at that point?

Lol, teacon's:
"town should be anti-tunneling"
"takes over thread with xorxes"
"I don't like how I did that"
"Continues on doing so"
"hardclaim VT"

Mind you, I don't completely blame him, but it was amusing xD

imo the game ground to a halt because :
1) IRL stuff
2) the game got massive
3) no one wants to figure out how to parse X v T, or get caught in the crossfire
4) Vanilla games are a different animal
5) Town has low morale at the loss of PR
6) if it's (XvT = TvT), scum doesn't need to talk much - they can hide, maybe put a little fuel on the fire to keep things full of heat and not light.
7) if it's (XvT = MvT), scum has incentive to fight to live.

@xorx - Seems like you're itching for a showdown. I think the most pro-town thing we can do here is open up space for everyone to catch up and say something.

If this was a real lynch mob, they'd be able to just string us both up at once.
##callGM - Is it possible to lynch two people at once?

I still think it's most probable that xorx is scum. I'm hoping I've demonstrated my case by now, and would rather not clog up the thread anymore. AMA me if you have questions.

Bozo's plan to lynch us both in succession, regardless of alignment, sounded good to me at first glance. I re-read it today and realized he was suggesting this because of emc's MvM bus theatre scenario. I'm in a position to say: there's 0% chance this is true. I'll agree to lynching us both because we have the ML's, but those aren't good odds for town.

I'm increasingly concerned, though, about the possibility of XvT being a TvT scenario, potentially with someone stoking the fires to make sure there's more heat than light. It's not at all unreasonable for scum to see a TvT in progress and settle in to lurk for at least two ML's.

I considered trying to change things up today to account for this, but xorx is in such a forward attack position that I don't think town will get much done until we lynch at least one scum between the two of us.

We should lynch xorx first of the two of us, since he's both stated and demonstrated that he's unwilling to listen or change his mind on anything. ##vote xorxes. In the unlikely event that he flips town, I'll completely understand when you lynch me next. (I'll then flip town and you'll be at lylo with a bunch of lurkers, but hey whatever we'll have learned why tunneling is town's worst enemy.)

If xorx flips scum, we'd still have 3 ML's and could afford to find out if flav is scum or just bad at this game.
If xorx flips town, lynch teacon and then... uh, consider everyone carefully. Don't rule out anyone who's still alive..

For now, I'm planning on spending time talking to people who I haven't talked to in a while.

-------------------------------------------------
Someone please check my math on this:
10t 3m - start. MLs: 4
L to 10t 2m - EoD1 damo flips godfather. MLs: 4
NK to 9t 2m - EoN1 rdriv flips cop.
ML to 8t 2m - EoD2 durga flips vt. MLs: 3
NK to 7t 2m - EoN2 espresso flips doc.

--> You are here <--
Right now, we have 3 ML's left to loss. That's 2 ML's to lylo.

ML to 6t 2m - EoD3 town death. ML's now left: 2
NK to 5t 2m - EoN3 town death.
ML to 4t 2m - EoD4 town death. ML's now left: 1
NK to 3t 2m - EoN4 town death.
lylo 3t 2m - ??? last ML before autoloss.

@emc

imo, tunneling means inability or unwillingness to consider other scenarios besides the one you've decided. It doesn't mean "defending yourself when someone is trying to lynch you." I do regret taking over the whole thread, but that's not the same as tunnel vision.

Hey do you really think there's a chance of this being scum theatre?

What do you think about the events of EoD2?

Annd, there isn't much of an option except for voting Durga atm, since teacon/vashta would tie.

I don't feel like the main argument on her being scum due to eod actions is really all that legit tho.
Durga was still voting for teacon, wasn't it obvious that if you voted for Vashta, Durga would have voted for him to break the tie?
