After Vashta's suspicious D1, he seems OK with not getting involved D2 since he is not at risk of getting lynched. I would prefer to see Vashta lynched over Durga or teacon.

Tbf vash is doing what Vash usually does (outside side of refering to hinself in the third person, but Vash finds it kind of funny) so I wouldn't put too much stock in Vash being only sort of around, he usually doesn't "show up" until near endgame. Anyway, on mobile and going to the gym.

I wasn't on the ND wagon. I was earlier in the day, not to lynch him but to get a reaction from emc.

teacon I went back and caught up, you were so hesitant onto pick up on the damo being a mafia, trying to say, hey we can't *really know!*

I tend to think you're smarter than that and knew you were his teammate, so you couldnt jump on him if there was even a chance of survival

Flavius, you played newbie scum in m45 and people gave you a pass for it. I watched the game. This game, your newbie card is revoked.

For all I'm arguing with xorx, I do think durga is the right one to lynch today.
When you get back, I'd appreciate your impressions of our conversation. Not just the merits of the case, but in how we're arguing. If we end up being TvT I think we'll both be pretty annoyed. Lend us some perspective on this.

How can we be TvT when I'm accusing you of lying and manipulation? I'm not accusing you of being wrong about my alignment, I'm accusing you of taking my words and twisting them to suit your purposes, which you would not do if you were town but just mistaken. You cannot believe that I'm town and accusing you of such things if you are town.

On top of the evidence that I think firmly puts you into the scum pool, is that you flat out just didn't want anyone to do any solving on the first day. You wanted to worry about grammar, and continually discredited D1 anything, as its 'too early'

I said we can't have certain knowledge on D1. I didn't only worry about grammar. I certainly wanted people solving. I'd still like them to solve, actually. A great start would be ... actually reading the game.

Not a joke, but maybe an appeal to RL probabilities. I'm at work a lot, and sometimes things come up. If I'm not around to chat/answer/respond, there's a chance someone leads a lynch on me.

No, after you are saved you can't be lynched, because you become a clear, and the doctor can vouch for you. This doesn't really lead anywhere though. Just to clarify that what you said doesn't make much sense, but in this instance at least it has nothing to do with being scummy.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. If we're both town, we're just talking past each other.

xorxes accuses teacon of distorting what he says and creating straw men arguments that xorxes never made in order to rebuke them.

teacon accuses xorxes of similar things (I won't put words in his mouth, but he has basically assumed I'm scum and not just misguided in most of his arguments with me).

Thanks for not putting words in my mouth. I am accusing you of similar things. Primarily though, I'm seeing you place the cart before the horse logically speaking. If we had more time we can hash this out, but I do think a) the rest of town needs space to talk, and b) if there's lurky scum our battle royale is just letting them hide.

fwiw, I'm still voting to lynch durga today and not xorx, based on EoD actions.

Both of us are fairly level-headed and capable of rational dissent, so when we accuse the other of manipulation and being dishonest we mean it, if we are town, it's not just rhetoric.

I do think volume of posts ought to be factored in.

So we can't both be town. If you believe I'm town, you must believe teacon is scum, I can assure you he has been dishonest in his arguments with me. I'm not offended by this because that's his job as scum.

I feel the same way about your case on me: dishonest, stretching, etc. I do think I'm capable of misunderstanding your arguments, however, and have to admit the possibility that you're misunderstanding me as well.

It's practically impossible that this is TvT. He would not lie and manipulate like this as town, he would argue his case honestly.

xorx I wasn't going to scumread you until you attacked me all N1 and D2. the way you were going about it looks so manipulative that I'm having a hard time seeing it as misunderstanding town.

If you have read all our exchanges you can judge for yourself who is being honest and who is not, but one of us has to be lying.

Also @teacon I was going to give you a pass, for I figured me being in the last game, let me know how damo usually acts.
Throughout that entire game, as a townsperson damo was quiet, he was simply a low poster.
Yet in this game he comes right off the bat bashing, talking and trying to solve, it was completely unlike him.

Yet you just revealed yourself.
You also read the last game, I assume quite closely, so you would also know damo was acting completely out of character.

teacon is really hedgy. he has no real town reads. everytime someone says/does anything he says "this could be scum!x doing this"

tbf ND posted his analysis of EoD1 before I got back. he noted many of the same things I did about your EoD1.

I'm trying to fight the urge to tunnel xorx. Tunnel vision is town's worst enemy. When I say "it could be" it's because I'm trying to keep an open mind and consider alternate possibilities. We have the same data, we need to find the right model that fits it. Did you or did you not tell ND just earlier that we should be willing to change our reads?
