How can you claim you are enjoying this game, and you care about this game but you have no desire to find my alleged 3 scumbuddies?

If you are really scum, I would bet in a scumteam with Jamiet and Cleaser and you three are laughing a lot in the QT. The fourth one isn't laughing because he can't read all the QT messages.

I started playing on a different site and it was interesting. I am an active player now on 4 diff forums. I think im probably the least appreciated person on webdip.

When I play other places people find me funny and skilled at mafia. I caught all 4 scum in a recent game and got fearkilled N1. I even caught the sk too.

Its easier when players try, and when players have imaginations, even overractive ones

People try in different ways, imo...
I rarely find guilt an effective motivator.
However, absence is NOT a different way of trying.

I joined a game as a sub. and tried to out. and vecna made a snide remark that id end up playing even though no one wanted me too.

and of course that got a bunch of likes and was real funny.

and so then I got the joy of replacing Ezio who barely played or did anything. and when gms needed me, I said sure without hesitation because a dead game isnt fun.

I initially wanted to sit out because I dont like playing games with durga. This is the game bo and durga wanted. they wanted this setup. I siggested a gunsmith and oracle and everyone laughed at me.

a few things:
Why are these phases this long? Who likes this?
How are these phases pro town at all? nothing happens til the final hour of a day where everything that happened during that day is utterly meaningless.

Why are so many players just not even defending anyone?
Doesnt anyone townread anyone at all?

Where are peoples readslists?

Is everyone just burnt out on playing mafia or do they actually just all have a personal hatred for me and everything I try to do?

Is it time for me to stop being part of this community?
Ive threatened it before out of drama but I really wonder if this site has just outgrown me and my personality.

I would like to continue being a part of the community but each game I feel less and less like anyone here actually cares about anyone but themselc

ever since Jamie was GM and decided that being deplorable and sexist was okay, but that spam was a vile warning offense, followed by him basically modkilling me for giving what I was sure was a posthumous +1.

I got the impression that Jamie just has a personal hatred of me which trickles even into how he GMs a game. I never even got an apology for what was pretty much a GM townsiding hard

he actively engineered the game to go in towns favor by making ruling after ruling that benefitted town because it suited his political agendas irl

Hey brain... you are one of my friends on this site. This game can be rough emotionally. Especially when someone is sure they are correct.
THIS game is particularly easily personal because most of what we go by is gut feelings... and it is very hard to not take push-back personally. (especially when some of the posts ARE personal.)

Relax man... I love you, man... and don't want you to leave.

But that doesn't mean I agree with all your reads.

I would still like a Jamiet vs vape/worcej wagon war.

But that ain't catching on.

I'd vote for xorxes or bozo.

But really, I don't HAVE strong cases. And I am concerned that we might lynch someone for non-participation instead of lynching someone for something they said or did. That is why I prefer my wagon program... which comes, I admit, solely off the doc claim fiasco.

I would also like to say... that I find it humorous that the first line of our oft repeated introductory post for each game uses the phrase,"epic proportions." Because I first played Mafia at epicMafia.

@Brain - Sometimes I have problems to know if you are being serious or not. If you are now, I suggest you take a break from Mafia here, because a game is meant to generate fun and a way to relax from the not so funny things on live (work, bills, politics, etc)and not to generate more stress.
This said, I enjoy playing with you and hope you can find a way to play without being so emotionally affected.

I think scum is hiding here in a different way than we are used to... which is why I suspect xorxes... and bozo and worcej. The last two for similar reasons: I usually (although worcej disavows this) see good analysis and witty sharp conclusions from them. That hasn't been the situation here.

This is reasoning by meta, which is the almost-worst way of conclusion.

But this is a game without PR's to pivot on. It's a different sort of game. I am not that great HAVING pivots, I am worse without them.

And I think we all are.

The maneuvers around the doc claim are at least something...

So other than meta, or gut feeling.... what else do we have to go by? Suggesions, please.... not just name calling...
