Actually that would be more compatible,

Brainbot: I never asked but do you want me to issue a distress signal for our colony?

##Proposal 1.10.1 Send distress signal
##Proposal 1.10.2 Don't send distress signal
We can only take 4 people on the mission anyways, we need 2 seats for the ride back. Yavu, Myself, and extra guy should be more than enough...

What are the possible results of sending a distress signal?
Having an armed ship come out to fend off the traitor is nice... until they wanna get paid. Or make demands. Or make us listen to Prince music.

What is distress signal? Why should we send this? They will think I'm working for them. We should not warn them.

My honest opinion is that we were betrayed and might as well become our own nation, no distress beacon, no one needs to know we are here. We have the potential to become real players in the galaxy we just need to survive for a bit on our own.

Also we don't need to pay them. I think life imprisonment in a cell would help them to talk.

Thats pretty much what YnBar was in the late 2090's. Started with 300 serbian immigrants. Within 10 phases had about 3500 people. Very diverse.

Also, just a heads up, since everyone passed prop 0.2 last phase we can no longer propose props since we are within 6 hours of the phase change

Don't let anyone know we have survived, it's better for now to be pronounced dead:

##Prop 1.11 Modify Prop 0.2(or would this be a law now? should we have a full list of passed props (laws) somewhere for reference?) to Read: "All proposals must be proposed in their final form at least 3 hours before phase change to give players sufficient time to vote on them." Instead of 6 hours *this prop would be retroactive and act as though it was passed as the original prop, so it can be voted on and passed this phase*
Re: Webdiplomacy Sci-Fi Simulator III Signups
6 hours, did that really pass, where was my mind!
Are you serious, this is just a result of greed of our president. 1-2 hours could be acceptable but 6 hours are unnecessary and limiting.
We should remove or modify it.

The president's intentions were good, but I think that 5 hours to vote is overkill, 2 should be more than enough. (remember that we can't vote for the last hour because of the veto rule)

I know he works for the colony with good intentions too. But he got anxious whrn we attempted to limit his powers.

Brainbot:
It is the lunch hour here on Endeavour3
Temperature is 22° C.
Light winds rolling through the marsh today.
Possible light rain, but so far were enjoying Spring on Endeavour.
Im detecting pretty wild storms on the far side of the planet. Some winds around 90 km/hr and heavy lightning. That shouldnt ever effect us.

Lol, don’t act like you just figured this out. You were heavily opposed to that part of 0.2 last phase as well, and you were also talking about my supposed greed. Can you please explain how leaving the last 6 hours for voting serves MY interests? It doesn’t benefit me or give me power in any way. I feel like you just have a personal vendetta against me.
Anyhow, I’m fine with 1.11 if the other councilors want it as well. The 6 hours were designated with the fact that some players may be on the other side of the world in mind and could be sleeping during the 3 hours before phase change.
Re: Webdiplomacy Sci-Fi Simulator III Signups
I don't think this should be allowed. Retroactively changing an already passed law. Propose it next phase, imo.RagingIke297 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2018 4:26 pm##Prop 1.11 Modify Prop 0.2(or would this be a law now? should we have a full list of passed props (laws) somewhere for reference?) to Read: "All proposals must be proposed in their final form at least 3 hours before phase change to give players sufficient time to vote on them." Also, you can view the google doc I've created. I'm listing all the proposals and creating a passed proposals page too. I probably won't include the temporary ones (like crisis management ones, tech votes). Let me know if you would want those listed too though. Very easily managed.
