"If Miss Parry was a man, there is no question it would have been straight down the stairs, because this is a shocking case of dangerous driving against a background of two previous convictions for excess alcohol."
This is yet another example of the appalling sexism inherent in the British legal system, where an astonishing 95% of the prison population are men.

I shan't comment on a specific case about which I know nothing. I volunteered to live under the rule of not just one Mighty Matriarch, The Most Beautiful Fire Breathing MemSahib, Her Imperiousness Indoors Lying on a sofa eating cakes, but two, the second being Delightful Princess Estelle. When I gaze upon the well ordered world ruled almost exclusively by men and compare that with my domestic Warfare, Strife & Disorders i am forced to conclude that I much prefer Matriarchal Rule.

hey MM I live in a household Ruled also by a powerful Matriach with 3 sublieutenants all now in early adulthood . Now beyond their teens the domination has become oppressive. As they all take an interest in me and what I can do for them Enjoy the bliss of your younger future monarch not really caring about the hysterical historical figure you represent( it wont last).
