First off I will start with Vecna because most people seem to be townreading him and I do not. He is one of my top Scumreads.

Vecna, to my understanding has never before rolled scum. This means he has his town play well and truly entrenched. To avoid suspicion he then must copy that exact meta to avoid suspicion.

The thing I tend to not most about Vecna is that his posts are short and sweet, one question and he moves on.

This game, most of his posts (pre pg 20), are unnecessarily long and verbose. There is nothing to the point about them at all. It's textbook trying to imitate something. On page 20 I drop in with my "Vecna is hard scum". Following this you will note that his posts immediately become more succinct and to the point. 5 pages later he then calls me out "wishing that I would participate". I think this is him hoping that this would cause a town to pick it up and start my wagon.

He also mentions being bored which also tends to point scum as they have to information. Many other people have also done it though so more it adds to the case than it gives me the read.

In terms of connections, I felt as though this exchange between EMC and Vecna was very off

but the way Vecna responded seems like he's certain of the third theory---@Vecna, could you elaborate a lil' bit? (unless you did so to move topic off, then feel free to not respond)

My play has been distinctively different from the last bunch of games. Plenty of people took note and were suspicious about it. I know I generally get a lot more suspicion cast on me when im live posting and reacting. So why would I do that exactly if I want to imitate my townplay? Not even gonna dignify the post length thing

Also ive rolled scum about 4 times before on this site.

I stated I was bored with Ezio's reaction test and that I felt it was dangerous for town and potentially a scum orchestrated gimmick. This just feels like youre trying to piggyback onto a comment that Squigs made earlier.

And if I wanted you to be a wagon id have made you one myself. After the last few games I really dont get why you think id want some other person to take note of that post and wagon you. I wanted you to actually participate so I could read you, because when youre participating youre quite easy to read for me. I called you out because I felt you were scared of getting read - like last game when you N1'd me because I was onto your ass.

I was assuming Ezio's Alien Ray Gun claim was fake and that he was trying to draw the Item Thief. If scum had the Alien Ray Gun, dargorygel seems like an odd choice to use it on since he was starting to draw suspicion because of his read like that included damo as scum.

Yes, I think we can assume dargorygel was the target of the Alien Ray Gun. Although there was no name reveal, we would eventually figure out who was not in the game anymore.
