Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Game status button works, day 1 button is still broken and might continue to be that way
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
##GM NOTE
Yes the Bot is working and just registered Damo as being lynched. Day 1 is broken, but Night 1 is working and should work going forward. Thank you to those of you who helped assist in this grueling process.

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
I'm going to apparently break character by posting something substantiative.
It is worth being mindful that I don't really care what Ezio's role is in the context of this conversation. The people that did the things they did had a motivation for doing so (or, well, hopefully they did). We should be digging for those motivations.

Here's the timeline. These are according to the timestamps that are on my screen.
3:26 PM, vote count -
Ezio(8):. Damo, Percy, Darg, Jamiet, LordQuas, bozotheclown, Worcej, RagingIke
Note that this vote count was incorrect, emc had previously voted for Ezio.
3:33 PM --> Ezio unclaims
3:34 --> darg jumps ship
3:56 --> emc votes Neph, who has 0 votes, with 4 minutes to go in phase and is well aware of how stupid it was
3:56 --> LordQuas votes darg
3:56 --> Ezio votes damo
3:56 --> LordQuas unvotes darg, votes damo
3:56 --> thamrick votes damo
3:57 --> Ike votes damo
3:57 --> Squigs votes darg
3:57 --> emc unvotes Neph, votes damo
3:58 --> rdrivera stays on Ike
3:59 --> bozo unvotes Ezio, votes damo
----
----
My interpretation of this sequence is the following: you all fucking suck.
Actual points:
• darg unvoted Ezio for no reason following Ezio's unclaim. His vote on LordQuas was shortlived. He did not make any effort to start a wagon or do anything at all. He then voted damo, in an apparent change of heart. Again, he did pretty much nothing other than make his actual vote and then... nothing. It is scummy as fuck to unvote someone who claimed third party (and is the leading wagon) simply because they retracted their claim, and if you disagree with me please do us a favor and message the GM saying you are not psychologically fit to play this game.
• Emc seemed fascinated and entertained by the sweepstakes of where his vote would land. He talked up his move off of Ezio before even doing it. He fucked around with his vote by starting an empty wagon on Neph with 4 minutes to go in the phase. If he's scum, he's the most nonchalant scum ever.
• LordQuas was extremely indecisive despite his apparent aggressiveness toward, well, everyone. He wanted to stay on Ezio, but realized it was prudent to jump off of him. Why was it prudent? That depends on his role. If he's town, it was prudent because the wagon was clearly losing momentum. If he's scum, it gets a whole lot more murky. The reasons I lean town on him after this sequence are a) he clearly thought his vote through each and every time despite the fast pace, b) he had ample opportunity to return to Ezio, either for a bus or a pile, and didn't, and c) he had the foresight to plan out where his vote might end up on wagons that weren't even in existence yet. Given the pace and general weirdness of it, I think he played this EOD quite well, and yes I am well aware that that is basically the antithesis of how I first saw it.
• Vaporwave looks like he had the time of his life this EOD. I need some of what he's smoking. Either a stupid townie or an incredibly, unbelievably stupid scumbag, but probably the former.
• At 3:38 PM, MoscowFleet was "indifferent" to any other lynch besides Jamie, who he voted for previously and then did not attempt to rally a wagon on really at all. At 3:50 PM, he had become emotional about the lynch, deploring the lead wagons Ezio and Ike. At 3:56 PM, he nonchalantly voted for damo without any fanfare. Moscow played EOD1 extremely conservatively and as far as I can tell he failed to even try to make any significant strides toward accomplishing anything that he wanted to at the end of the day. His EOD was scummy as hell.
• At 3:59 PM, bozo jumped off of Ezio onto damo. The vote was meaningless. However, the action was not. He had clearly read enough of the EOD to cast a new vote. He knew Ezio had retracted and knew that damo was a leading wagon. He had been keeping up, but did not post nor attempt to do anything substantial. I find that scummy.
• Ike's vote at 3:55 PM appears to have untied the vote and put himself in the lead. If I counted incorrectly and this is not the case, then this point is moot, but if I counted correctly, I do not see scum - or third party, for that matter - being so careless about the vote count when they are on the block that they would do that.
It is worth being mindful that I don't really care what Ezio's role is in the context of this conversation. The people that did the things they did had a motivation for doing so (or, well, hopefully they did). We should be digging for those motivations.

Because it makes more things happen
##VOTE DAMO666
3:43 --> LordQuas posts his intention to stay on Ezio, with some other options
3:44 --> emc unvotes
3:44 --> LordQuas updates his list
3:48 --> LordQuas jumps ship, votes darg
3:50 --> Vaporwave votes Ike "to save Ezio"LordQuas wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 9:48 pmit's neutral as hell is what I'm saying, and you should have retracted your claim awhile ago I really don't think you left enough time
you're going to need to give me more than that though, it's still pro-town to vote you off. I don't think anyone voted you without considering the possibility of fake claim
I think you're probably just a town trying to make a fake claim play that's suffering from HUGE FPS, but I'm fucking pissed if you're the alien
##Vote darg
didn't get involved, looked to try and get ezio lynched but wasn't being active either way. I think scum would try to get you lynched but also not be a huge proponent of it for the reasons you're stating, they're aware it might make them look bad. Also was extremely eager to jump ship once you started calling them out, and they've felt off all of last game
darg literally went against the entire concensus on who to vig last game, and now they just sheep someone blindly who was claiming alien? I really doubt that
3:50 --> Jamie stays on Ezio, maintains scumread on Ike
3:50 --> Moscow townreads Ike - note previous hard townread of EzioJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 9:50 pmI don't believe Ezio's retraction.
I town-read Lord Quas.
My feelings on Ike have not changed, I think he's scum.
3:54 --> LordQuas votes Ike, with... caveatsMoscowFleet wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 9:50 pmCmon guys, don't do this. I'm not scumreading Ike at all. What has he done that's been so bad?
3:55 --> Moscow votes Ike > Ezio, apparently had to pick between townreads, poor guy
3:55 --> Ike votes darg --> untied vote, put himself in the lead to be lynched if I counted correctly (probably didn't)MoscowFleet wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 9:55 pmVC is correct, numbers at the front are wrong.
##vote Ike because Ezio>Ike, but really this is ridiculous.

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
I really like bo's last post, which probably means bo is scum. However, I'll continue to treat him as town so he provides useful content like that.
I literally lol'ed at Ike saying LQ would tunnel bo all the way to China. So many +1s are deserved

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
You like that? Anyone could have done that. All it requires is effort. Being mafia wouldn't preclude someone from having the ability to put in effort.

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Ummmmmm, LQ broke Bo. He puts in that much effort in entire games not single posts
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
I literally said I would rather go after darg and maybe ike or damo than ezio
and then I did exactly what I said I was going to. I never PLANNED stay on ezio like you claimed, I just would rather vote ezio than Jamie. Stop gas lighting me, I clearly said I would rather lynch all three people I voted for EoD than Ezio in those first two posts
now fuck off and learn to read English, if you want to talk about being aggressive towards everyone you've literally done jack shit except call everyone else in the game "fucking idiots" and complain about how shit we are
if that's the case, maybe you're just too much of a pussy to put yourself out there and admit you might be wrong. Now go jack yourself off and cry yourself to sleep because you don't have good enough social skills to interact with others beyond insulting them
:)

Oh, you're right, I read it again. Clearly, you're right. These 6 words give it away. I should have noticed.
