Say what you want, but the last time I was wrong in calling Rdrivera's alignment on day1 was in that small witch game. People shouldnt be ignoring my reads there, so I feel fine playing them up, especially after last game.

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Ignoring parts of play seems agenda driven to me. I've gotten the feeling that you are looking to scum read lots of people, rather than solve the game, which is not the usual vibe I get from your posting.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:24 pmI feel by now you should know how my rereading works, and the chronological order it takes. And no, I dont remember reading any answers of yours that I can agree with, or that I felt were worth mentioning again. I disagree with you, and I keep having this feeling that youre extremely reactionary in how you approach anyone that dares to say a word about it.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:11 pmYou ignored the parts where people questioned me about this, and I gave an answer with my feelings towards Jamie. Also the fact that I voted him, saying I found his play scummier than everyone else's.
Did you not comment on those half of my posts because you didn't read them, you didn't think they were interesting, or you couldn't think of a way to construe it as scummy?
Also, let's talk more about the Jamie thing then if you disagree. You still haven't posted why you disagree. Do you not agree with my assessment of what Jamie's meta is, or do you not agree with my assessment of Jamie's play this game?
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
I've actually never read a Vecna scum game. He's been town for all 8 games since I've been back. Time to do some studying.
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Jamiet tried to lowkey subdue the situation with you instead of pushing it over the top. I did not get the feel for that exaggeration that he often does as scum. It could be he just changed it up completely again from the last few games because its obviously not been working for him, but I do feel his shit is genuine this game.
If he was scum I feel he'd go completely gunshit crazy over the encryption shit for example, but instead he joined in on it.
Different types of contradictory behavior.
Probably sounding like shit reasoning since with Jamiet it always comes down to those weird gut feelings, but im feeling pretty fine with my read.

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
I have a different view of his meta then. For me, town Jamie goes crazy and aggressive, while scum Jamie tries to lay low.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:48 pmJamiet tried to lowkey subdue the situation with you instead of pushing it over the top. It doesn't. I know it doesn't.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:34 pmWhy? How does this help town?e.m.c^42 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:31 pmActually, @Vapor, I second this xD
have been deliberately acting rather shitty (more than my usual ability level of shitty)
but then, it was outright stated by me---(which I guess isn't that town-productive, true, but it's fun so who cares :D)
also, what do you find iffy about worcej? apart from him discussing just the alien mechs
but, as per my resolutions and reasoning before the game started....xd
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Well, give me some time, I will try :D
if it turns out to be shit logic don't blame me lmao
but please do point it out
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
The differences really are not that subtle. Its about the way he tries to profile him and which fights he picks. The last time he was actively laying low was also in that small witch game I think, after which he switched back.
Regardless, if you meta-read him on laying low, why did you instantly jump on him after he actively attacked you right after page1?

Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Wait, did you play all recent games with Jamiet? Maybe you missed the last few where he was scum. I think you'll find my point much illuminated if you read those.
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Anyways im feeling all kinds of yuk for diverting this much attention towards Jamiet. At least im feeling moderately better about you for your little crusades, which dont really feel acted out.
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Like I said in the posts you ignored, I was trying to pick a fight with Jamie to see how he would react to it and get a read on him. Best way to pick a fight with Jamie is to vote him right after he votes you. Also, like I said, his case on me wasn't a real case.Vecna wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:55 pmThe differences really are not that subtle. Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Well at least I can see your thought process for interpreting his subdued response as scummy. I wholeheartedly agreed with the reason he opened that attack on you after page1 though because I felt the exact same way.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 3:58 pmLike I said in the posts you ignored, I was trying to pick a fight with Jamie to see how he would react to it and get a read on him. Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Finally some marginal excitement after getting insta-townread like 17 games in a row
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
Time for some common ground; What makes you suspicious about EMC?
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
i'm willing to present arguments for that if squigs doesn't return soon XD
Re: MAFIA 44: 'DREAMLAND' GAME THREAD
I'm back.
Admittedly, emcs play has been bad all of his games here. However, his play this game has had less... energy? This is definitely more a vibe feel than pointing to any post. Doesn't help that he continues to hedge and avoid anything meaningful.
