Have just received an email from Doug Kent at Diplomacy World, advising of the passing of Larry Peery on 8th March.
I never had the pleasure of meeting Larry but I'm sure that many of you did. He was a giant of the game, not necessarily in terms of playing ability (although no slouch) but certainly with regards commitment. It is no exaggeration to say that he wrote more about Diplomacy than any one else.
Doug is inviting tributes and memories so please send these in to the DipWorld email address; [email protected].

Re: Larry Peery
Never had the pleasure of meeting him, but his reputation speaks for itself. Few have made such an impact on the hobby. I'll be raising a glass to him later.
