Also, have you read any of the (about) 4 posts imploring people not to vote Attorney until we give the role cop a chance to scan him? Or did you just disagree with that plan?
(I realize you have since switched back to Flash)

Okay, not the wording I would use in this case.

If Attorney is conservative, and none of the town conservative lied about their party, then this game is autowin for us since we can lynch all of the conservatives before mafia can kill off the non-cons. So yes, we lynch Attorney, and it doesn't even matter if he lied or not.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 4:34 amI don’t necessarily disagree with that plan, but I don’t love it either. To me, it comes down to whether or not you believe him.
He has lied once already (apparently). So let’s say he is scanned and it comes back as conservative. We then all immediately lynch him right? I wouldn’t exactly be shocked if he was town and just lied again.
We would learn if he lied but I get the impression lots of what he says is a lie, so I don’t know how scanning him will be tremendously more effective than another target

The only downside to this plan is if Party cop is killed or RB'd tonight. But then we can always decide what to do with Attorney later.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 4:39 amIf Attorney is conservative, and none of the town conservative lied about their party, then this game is autowin for us since we can lynch all of the conservatives before mafia can kill off the non-cons. This is getting ridiculous, I've thought it for so long that I'm starting to believe it. Time to hang up the old tin foil hat and do some real scum hunting. Full re-read tonight, tossing everything out the window and starting freshRagingIke297 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 4:54 amSo tell me Squigs, do you, Xorxes and the rest of the team got a pretty good read on who the Party Cop is?Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 4:44 amThe only downside to this plan is if Party cop is killed or RB'd tonight. Maybe he is referring to "give the past a slip" the painting, alternatively titled "are we not plumbers?" Suffice it to say this is one crumb trail neither Hansel or Gretel can follow. ( Or I'm just an idiot)

I disagree, if he really did claim conservative as non-conservative, retracting when he did was the correct thing to do. If any non-conservative town took your advice to claim conservative, they should have retracted by now, so we can find out if there are any scum in the non-conservatives.xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 9:40 pmPlus, of course, it made no sense to retract when he did. If he wanted to confuse the Mafia, why retract?xorxes wrote: ↑Tue Mar 05, 2019 9:39 pmYes. The problem is that he claimed conservative before I suggested that, as an improvement to the original plan, some noncon might consider claiming conservative. I didn't really want that to happen, but just seed the doubt in the Mafia's minds that it may happen, so that the Party Cop could be found in either camp.
Now it is possible that Attorney had all these ideas that he never shared about fakeclaiming to confuse the Mafia, and if his conservative claim had come after I made the suggestion, well, maybe the retract would be more believable. But the obvious candidates for fakeclaiming were the PRs who could prove themselves town if needed, not a backbencher that couldn't.
So no, his retraction is not believable, but still we don't need to lynch him today.
