Demon, I was working and only got back to catch up to the thread in time right at EoD, I didn't expect everyone to go full tilt idiot mode and abandon an obvious lynch. If we were going to lynch a non-balki, why the hell wasn't it bozo, fluminator (also hi new guy) or ree, rdr's lynch seemed so completely idiotic, he's been obvious town the entire game. You even gave balki the moment he needed to save himself. So dumb I can't even believe it.

I have a question, mostly for everyone, though I don't take Mean or Balki's answers very highly here:

Jamie, who very very rarely (If ever) busses, urged town to lynch Mean over Rj. Rj kept linking himself to her before he could be coached off it.

Knowing RJ was the witch, a super powerful role, does Jamie possibly bus the hooker to try and save him?

Funny aside, Mean has never referenced the mafia's rb role this game, and has only mentioned roleblocks on 3 occasions. Guilt by omission?

I'm just throwing things at the wall. I think we shoot Balki to stop the clown fiesta and stop the whining, and then if he flips town we lynch Mean maybe?

@DemonRHK... Maybe? I can't decide about that interaction. Would Jamiet really intervene in two newbie scum being weird at each other? Or would he conclude that it's best not to get any fingerprints on that? But also, he was not afraid to "coach" Rjm (with some pretty basic info that's also just polite to hand to newbies).

It doesn't look like Rjm was afraid to interact with his team on D1, although of his 34 posts, several of them are taken up with Brainbomb and the Mean-town-leader thing. But also, he never initiated anything with Jamiet, who was certainly around conversational. The couple times he does interact with Jamiet, Jamiet is the one initiating. I wonder if his scummates saw that he was avoiding them too assiduously on D1, and coached to be not be afraid to interact and bus, and that's where that interaction with Bo at the start of D2 comes from. That would point to Mean being Town.

Bo_sox drops in on Page 13, a few hours before Rjm shows up again, so they don't quite overlap. But Rjm does criticize Ezio's as "someone who is throwing out reads with no real justification and lurking and having no useful input to the town"; he doesn't say anything about Bo, though. Not sure that's actually related.

This is pretty tenuous, so I'm not sure we can draw any real conclusions from it.

Two things about Balki pop up, though... On page 14, Rjm brushes off a question about mean that includes "I don’t have a strong read on balki yet." Is it weird that he's trying to promote Mean as townleader, but not following Mean's scumread of Balki?

Then 7 minutes from lynch, he pushes back on Brainbomb, "“Every one on Jamie! Everyone on Balki!” That is super unhelpful B.B." At that point, though, Brain wasn't scumreading Balki, and had come to the Jamiet wagon by way of Balki showing that there had been a vote in the Jamiet-Balki spat. Brain did say "Theres definetely scum on balki!!!!!!"

Did Rjm misread it, and show up to defend two of his scummates?
