I understood the benefits of xorxes plan straight away. This is why I immediately declared. I was being too pedantic about the definition of what we define as "conservative" after seeing Squiggs post. I understand that xorxes, rather than giving me a direct answer, tried to see whether I was a really, really, really, REALLY dumb scum.

If no town lie and all scum say they are conservative, the power of the party cop is least and we only need two town clears on the conservative side to win. If scum put themselves on the non-conservative side, then it makes it harder to automatically clear people but it makes the party cop more useful/powerful.

Depending on how the numbers come out (e.g. if all scum put themselves on the conservative side), it may make sense for the prime minister to reveal as that would give us one of the two town clears to win (given that the PR role is almost useless, other than to share who he/she believes are town clears with the EU negotiator).

Anyway, on to BB. It is kind of amusing that he picks up that I am logged into discord (I keep discord open on my desktop 24/7)...as I am known for trying to think of things outside of the thread to identify scum. I am not that keen on his wagon though. BB is always erratic the first day...and I think people are being biased by the last game. Given that I don't see any other good lynch candidates currently (who else hasn't claimed a party?), I will stick with Attorney for now.

Xorxes actually had two competing plans, although the second plan to claim was the one most discussed. I wanted to see some proofs on the math (which others did, thank you), and I'm generally skeptical of any plan that requires everyone to participate on Day 1 when there are 21 of us and plenty of potential town flakes in addition to mafia malfeasance. So the math needs to include not just unclaimed mafia, but unclaimed town as well.

And Xorxes is tricksy. So even if the plan looks good, he's a good enough player that caution is warranted.

have you ever seen him be this convincing as scum and try to grab the leadership robes? Id be thoroughly impressed after last game, esp since his plan is pretty antiscum if started and concluded properly.

but that very well might be while yourr shading it so hard.

I think I'm allowed a little skepticism on page 13 with game barely underway. Xorxes has been solidly in my town reads for a while now.

Flash does this irritating thing where he "traditionally" votes for Brainbomb, and he voted for EMC this time. That weirds me out. Why the change, I wonder...

And he seems to be pouncing a little bit. Which I also don't like, but that could just be a difference in styles. I'd give him the slightest, slightest lean toward scum. (Vaporware seems much scummier, by comparison, though.)

Really dislike this post. fits right in with foxies hedgy scummeta. it also just feels disingenuous and basically comes down to "he didnt jokevote brainbomb"
