That could be (assuming Squigs was using Ombudsman to imply one of the other PRs), but if so, why would you blow it into the open like that? That says to me that you don't think Squigs was actually crumbing... (Or maybe you were joking with your assertion?)

It was not from British law, so not a valid crumb for this game.

I don't think that disqualifies it. Plenty of crumbs in previous games have been totally unrelated to the theme. (I blame Tom Bomb for my wild-eyed approach to obscure crumbing...)

If Squigs is scum, it's a nice play, because it lets him fakeclaim either investigative role or possibly even EU negotiator.

We're lynching whoever is scummiest, partylines are incidental for now, just one more piece of data to inform your vote.

The point of claiming conservative is to tell the Party Cop not to waste their scan on somene that will return conservative and thus inconclusive as to whether they're mafia or not.

Until everyone has claimed we won't know which side has the most scum.

The tone of this game is completely different from the last one, so my comparisons and point-of-reference may be off due to that, but:

Both Vapor and xorxes are rather different so far; Vapor has been actually trying, vs last time with the "innocent-passive lurkiness" haha

[ I'm tempted to like it, but it's possible he's experienced enough to do this as a tactic/to throw off building meta assumptions. ]

Xorxes actually posted stuff that wasn't one sentence--and a lot of it :D

still rather mechanics based, which I don't really know how to distinguish between good and bad plans lol--but he has succeeded in convincing (I'll assume what will become everyone) in the con-noncon claiming.

Percy feels a bit ehh...giving me the same feeling as Vapor from last game: @Percy, what experience do you have with mafia in general? Just reading games (like me!) or have you played IRL or elsewhere?

Brain, like other people have noted, has been quiet: this coupled with the thing he had about signing up makes it not too unexpected; but again, same as the above []'d sentence.
