@Bozo, Fox - You seem to have expressed that you are in favor (at least slightly) of the claim idea. Why haven't you claimed if that is the case?

Xorxes actually had two competing plans, although the second plan to claim was the one most discussed. I wanted to see some proofs on the math (which others did, thank you), and I'm generally skeptical of any plan that requires everyone to participate on Day 1 when there are 21 of us and plenty of potential town flakes in addition to mafia malfeasance. So the math needs to include not just unclaimed mafia, but unclaimed town as well.

And Xorxes is tricksy. So even if the plan looks good, he's a good enough player that caution is warranted.

There are 21 players.

10 are conservative (4 scum)
11 are non con (1 scum)

I thought DUP should be part of the conservatives then we know that we only need to lynch conservatives, no?

DUP is Mafia, so we have no control on what they claim, do we? For our purposes for now they are just like any other Mafia.

And of course non-conservatives are not lynch immune. That would be silly, telling Mafia all they have to do is claim non-conservative and they're safe, don't you think?

It depends. If nobody else claims conservative then it's probably better to lynch in the other pile since we will have five guaranteed town here. Let's wait to hear everyone's claim before deciding which pile has more scum in it.

Just confirming - in your plan is dup conservative or non-conservative? I ask because Squiggs threw in some confusion here.

Flash does this irritating thing where he "traditionally" votes for Brainbomb, and he voted for EMC this time. That weirds me out. Why the change, I wonder...

And he seems to be pouncing a little bit. Which I also don't like, but that could just be a difference in styles. I'd give him the slightest, slightest lean toward scum. (Vaporware seems much scummier, by comparison, though.)

Of course the plan says nothing of my alignment.

Town who don't participate are just like lurkers, behaving in an anti-town way. The plan works best if everyone participates, but even if some don't, it gives us information.

Yeah, those were my thoughts as well.
Vaporwave is scummier I completely agree with you, however flash claimed conservative which is the thing that bugs me.
Also Fox, have you claimed conservative or not yet?

This is really the most compelling aspect for me, likelihoods of lynch scum or scum hitting PRs aside. Although, it is a little bit undermined by your later amendment that some non-conservative town should claim conservative...

Except for pointing out that Brainbomb is being weird, you haven't given any thoughts on anyone else yet. Care to give a read or two?
