Can't believe I didn't ask this at the very beginning, but was I correct in thinking that the scum players don't know who each other are during Day 1? Didn't read anything about it, they're finding out who each are are about now, right?

I think they cannot communicate but are told who their team mates are

Even on Mafiascum the Mafia are told who their team mates are.

The only things I know about mafia is from googling the abbreviations and reading the forum here, was too lazy to bother looking elsewhere.

Had constructed in my mind that this was a game of discrete signaling and guessing (which I still do think it is, only that I'm missing most of it). Must've overcomplicated it somewhere.

I'm starting to think I actually am, and giving too much credit to non-existent things XD

Like, was wondering about whether purposefully making typos was a thing that people were doing, to show that they wrote something in a hurry or without double checking, etc...since that was something I was doing myself at times.
