I am not sure what you are talking about here. Demon has only had two posts! The second post where he suggested some reads may not be fully thought through, but at least it is **something**. I don't like the way we tend to see these posts as automatically scummy. There are 25 people playing and lots of activity. It is hard to keep up.

It's impossible to have decent reads on all 24 other players, agree. But I think it's better to give genuine thoughts on some of them other then just give reads without reasoning on the big posters and vote himself.

I am not sure I am liking how CrimsonFox is bouncing around with his vote. I asked about thdfrance, he says there is more of a reason to his vote but doesn't explain (I would have been satisfied if he had said it is to get thdfrance to post more) then immediately changes to ND without explanation. This is good enough for me to change my vote:

Trying to point out obvious site meta and assist newbies is one of the most tried and true ways to generate freebie towncred and is lazy. It reeks. Also he tries to shade/mindgame bb's meta on 'why he can't be scum with x'

This is normally a trap, and one I am guilty of, linking players and making players mutually exclusive based on the game and meta. As much as I normally try to use logic like that, we're all humans, and we throw logic out of the window 99% of the time. I love saying 'x is scum with x' or 'x can't be scum with x' but we turn that into conf bias and it dissuades honest scumhunting.

p35 gets a special mention here, for live action and older quotes that caught my eye just now.

Quas is chastizing ghug while praising rdr on the subject of activity. Quas applauds rdr for trying. Rdr to that point had like 9 posts, not a one of them with more than about 2 lines besides the ones mourning having to be in the game instead of on the beach.

Quas and DT then go into a full mutual town reading bromance, then both say two of the most alarming things you can read:

- You don't need to read the game, just skim it

and

- ghug needs to die, regardless that he's possibly town (And in DT's case, even if he is PR)

This is how scum tries to manipulate the narrative, by telling you to just make a vote on what they find or on incomplete reads and information.

Went back to look at that page since I had a different impression: Quas was chastizing not really for activity, but the tone and outlook--rdr, although he had few posts and half of them were excuses, was at least attempting to state an opinion (I like this, I don't like this)--not be outright dismissive and claim that people talked too much uselessly without finishing the thread, as well as using a negative tone. More of an outlook, rather than actual useful posting judging.
