Putting all my thoughts together in response to LQ

I am 100% hurting the game less than someone like Cfox.

Right now I don't really have any strong reads and I dont have the time or motivation to go sort through all the spam to find real content. Overall Jamie seems like he's more chill than usual

but he did have that one outburst at DT or ND maybe? I dont remember
but it did seem suspect to me when Brainbomb and Jamie voted together for like 2 seconds only to then vote each other at some point after that. I think Brain went right to Jamie.

The new guy EMC is talking way to much to be scum on day 1 with no coaching.

DT seems abrasive, i was glad that durga dropped becuase shes the worst but it looks like DT will fill that role.

Ezio seemed more motivated than usual for a second, which told me he's town becuase he can't get shot and killed by the desperado, but he's since tappered off.

Something else about DT was that he told Jamie he wasn't voting, he was voting for LQ on accident but he had still already voted for THDfrance.
Either way he was lying.

Xorxes, Ghug, and RDR are unimpressive so far, but i am too and I assume they are for the same reason I am, the spam from Cfox, ND, BB and others needs to stop. I was prepared for like 35 pages day 1, we're at 50 and we've still got like 18 hours left.

I agree somewhat although in the two games I've played with Xorx he tends to go more into other peoples reads as scum and do more of his own stuff as town. hence I don't overtly scumread him atm.

That being said its a meta read hence why I nulled him.

(it's also a bit for others, since with the superblock format, there's bound to be people skipping or only vaguely skimming since it's not entirely comfortable on the eyes.)

you don't need to sort through is the thing. I've even started to make ketchup posts for ppl that are busy (like you!). Just posting these thoughts you have at the time you have them goes a LONG way towards helping the rest of the game, as minor as they may seem. I don't know if I *agree* with all your analysis (a brand new player as a wolf is often unencumbered, and if they're getting coached they might be MORE inclined to post then they would as a villa since nobody is helping them). Also I think DT said he wasn't voting for ME if my memory is correct. But either way just posting this shows that I don't think you merely were going for the LHF and going after DT is showing guts

just post stuff even a fifth or a quarter the size and effort of this and it'll go a long way towards convincing people you're town :)

vecna racked up probably 80% of his content in 2 pages talking to himself about gamestate. spam is how we parse things, many things. 25 players theres alot of huge egos and mafia is meant to be a big story.

I think the problem is systemic of game size and phase length.

I don’t have additional thoughts than what I’ve said. I slightly townread ND. Scumlean on Moscow. Null on most of the rest. I don’t like town falling into the trap of lynching high volume posters because they have more content to critique D1 where most everyone is going in blind. It seems lazy

To expound - DT found thd suspicious because of his lack of caring about hi read. thd voted emc implying that emc was lying about being new to mafia. Then right after that the voted ghug without any follow up to his implication that emc was lying. Correct me if I am wrong, but the crux of DTs argument is that thamrick posted a question or thought, then showed no follow through on it and switched to a different vote for no reason.

Then MF comes in here and tries to characterize DTs reasoning as faulty by saying “scum being more likely to lie about being new is a pretty reasonable stance.” - which is totally not the rationale DT presented.

So either MF is trying to shade DT by misrepresenting him (scummy)
Or is not reading the thread closely (either scummy by not reading and scumhunting well, or bad town by not reading and scumbunting well

my initial reaction towards you who possibly is lying about being new to forum mafia would be to ask you this question and decipher whether or not you are telling the truth

what dt is asking you partially is why would a mafia lie about this being their first game any more then a town would. It's not a sensible thing to do as EITHER alignment
