I do not agree with the reasons Nephthys gave to town read Jamie and xorxes based on their last scum game, which leads me to think he knows they are both town and he is fabricating reasons to town read them.

I have a strong feeling this is scum Bozo trying to fabricate a reason to anchor a vote on Nephthys, that have been blatantly townish.

If you are really Persia and town, claiming it is not helpful to town. The proper play would be to try to draw the NK N1, as that is the only town use for your power. Therefore, I believe either your claim is fake or you are not town.

Here are my only reads at present that are not complete nulls:

bozotheclown - Slight scum: Has done nothing but ask questions about the setup. Maybe trying to look involved without giving anything up.

CrimsonFox - Odd newb but giving a "clueless new scum" vibe.

LordQuas - Scum: Depth-charging and making false claims.

ND - Slight scum. Has been present but avoiding any contribution. Standard shady ND. Also a cultural fascist. Sad!

Nephthys - Town.

Squigs44 - Slight town but that's just instinct and vibe. Need to see more.

Vecna - Slight town but damn he's annoying.

xorxes - Scum, hunting for Town PRs, yuck.

5 out of 8 is a high percentage of scum reads, at that rate it would give you 12 scum out of 19.

So you read the thread, comment on my post that youre a lurker, and then take another 45 minutes to handpick these posts, and write these artificial replies to them?

Scum reading me for how long it takes me to response to different post is so weak that I doubt it is something you would seriously do as town.

What do you find artificial about my response to your claim? Do you still maintain you are Persia? If so, do you realize it is the one role that you should absolutely not claim day 1 as town?

How do you define an anchor vote? Why do you think Nephthys is town? Do you agree with the comments he made about the play of Jamie and xorxes in the game they were all scum?

Jamie doesn’t seem like scum-Jamie. SK? Maybe. The comment he made about being ‘un-bussable’ was probably meant to be an ‘I am town’ comment. Unless he was pub-writing…

The Lying Theme
I actually agree with Jamie… scum are more prone to tell lies than town. When I role scum I keep a yellow legal pad next to my computer to keep track of the lies (little or big) that I write. My first catch up read (still a lot even without Brain!) focused on inacurracies. Still early to find any, but these came up:

I don’t see that Ezio’s Troll request was a lie. (Although he has not yet mentioned No Lynch, which concerns me.)

Ghug’s two gun claim also does not seem serious, so I won’t call it a lie. If ghug is making a fake claim about being a vig, I figure he would take a bit more care.

Ike claims that I told him to shoot vecna… but it looks to me like only bozo and Jamie (and later rivera) urged a vecna-shot. Not sure if I call that a lie… but it isn’t true (yet.)

I DO like the idea of a vecna shot. It confirms a couple of hard claims. But only if no scum slips show up.

Jamie’s focus on trolling as lying seems like Jamie… although I am raising one eyebrow because often pots call kettles black.

I think you should shoot Vecna to verify his claim, and if he really is Persia, we should lynch him D2, because the only way I can see him really being Persia is if he is scum.

LordQuas makes a bland statement here... and later responds to bozo's questioning with a 'coz I said so.'

I know he's a newbie... but it felt like a build up against bozo, without a willingness to engage. Which sounds like a scum thing... and a newbie (on our site anyway) without the benefit yet of a QT might just act like that.

I'd like to see him interact with bozo's question for more explanation.

I have now read DemoRHK's read list, such as it is. I have no problems with it - although it hedges its bets, so who knows. Anyone could post a read list like that, at this stage.

That's rather my point, its very vague and doesn't really seem to contribute anything. Do you think its possible that RHK is scum and trying to blend as posting content?

Actually, the vagueness had plenty of detail to it that showed a towny mindset to me.
