Does this mean they become a tree stump if they die, or does it mean that if Brazil is still alive when we reach the exploration era, they will immediately die and become a tree stump?

If so it's pretty harsh for town to potentially have a role that is destined to die irrespective of what they do, or what anyone else does.

This role was rewritten in my notes. I likely forgot to update the doc. sorry.
It becomes a tree stump IF they die. theyre not just guaranteed to die. And if they are a Godfather it is conditional.
So if Town the role is a tree stump
if Mafia its a conditional Godfather.
And as with all roles:
this role is not guaranteed to be in the game.
