I think the question was addressed to me, but I accept your answer.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 5:27 pmIt isn't so much that Xorxes hasnt solved the game. It is more his posting style that bothers me. Every single post of his has been a short comment.Fluminator wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 5:17 pm
The burden of having the "good player" meta.
See, xorx is a solid null right now for me, and I think a lot of the scumreads are just people expecting him to be better. Is this fair xorx?
Do you feel like you're struggling more this game than average?
I think I am struggling at just about the same level as other games this early in the game. My D1, D2 has never been good.

I think he's town but I don't think he's good at scumhunting. I think he scummreads Bozo and Rd as scum almost every game, so I'm not too surprised to see it again. I'm a little surprised his meta hasn't changed much, so it might be him trying to recreate his previous meta (a move Ghug absolutely does as scum), but I think it's more likely (ATM) he's just doing it as town.
I'll be good at scumhunting once I have a few more townreads. Right now I just want the ones I do have to survive.
Why the fuck do you townread Flum?
I townread flum because he should be townread at the moment.

Does this mean we can count on you to vote Squigs today?xorxes wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 10:32 pm"Xorxes usually has at least one detailed post by now where he assembles a scum team"? Citation needed.Squigs44 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 4:46 pm
Has Xorxes actually solved anything for us yet? A lot of his posts are one or two word phrases like "buddying", "townie post", or "good observation", and his longest post is like three lines long. Xorxes usually has at least one detailed post by now where he assembles a scum team.
But I will assemble a tentative scum team for you anyway: ghug, Squigs, Vecna.
I may be wrong about one of you.
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I want to see more drawn conclusions to go with xorxes's always-good observations before I'm convinced he's town.
Balki, Flum is clearly not suggesting that we not lynch people who are gone. He's suggesting that the choice will come down to the people who are here.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
Anyone have any thoughts on Rdr not voting for Squigs before leaving?
I’m second guessing myself now.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
For what it's worth, I absolutely agree with you. My problem is that I always, LITERALLY ALWAYS, think that way about RD rivera. Almost everyone who actually thinks about other people's plays make those complaints about him. I'm still not sure why.
As a result, I think he's the most mislynched player on the site. He manages to avoid being lynched as scum somehow though...

I'm not trying anything. Let's just pretend I'm day cop and I scanned xorxes' ass.
I'm absolutely not claiming anything though, just let's assume I am.

I fear that Ezio may have been hacked. I bet his login password was "Schmezio."
People, secure password manager software is one of the best investments you can make.

I say it is, and we're listening to me today so you should sheep him and vote Squiggs.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I double checked Rdr's read on squiggs throughout the game and it's been soft-townie but usually avoiding talking about him.
Either way, if he's scum, it would have looked really bad if he voted Squigs after townreading him. null imo
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
Ezio's confidence seems so contrived right now. He has made so many assumptions and moved on with them as if they are fact without waiting for a flip. Why would town Ezio do that?
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I'm also a little weirded out by Ezio right now, but that makes me less inclined to think he's scum.

It's not contrived. Xorxes has made posts. These posts have told me literally everything I needed to hear.
Don't forget to post your reads before you die. If we're wrong about you it's gonna be important.

I see your dead-ass watching this Tom.
For the record, if I'm right I'm taking all the glory and credit for this.
If I'm wrong, this is all your fault Tom.
