Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
After patching the server code from my phone here in Egypt, the bot now allows night_hours=0.
Now it is running day 1 for game 1006. And let's keep our fingers crossed that the switch d1 to d2 goes smoothly (not tried before).
Since game 1005 is the default game running simultaneously (also this not tried before), you need to switch to 1006 or use this link http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/game_status?g=1006 to go straight into 1006.
Br
Peter with 2 very nice dives today.
Good luck with your game!

This needs to stop being a thing on Webdip. Every game someone announces they have a stupid plan and get towncred for it. Scum could be pretty comfortable doing this with how much Webdip eats it up. And a scummate could be pretty comfortable using the same party line that's been used for years to townread his buddy.rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 5:10 pmBozo suggestion is so atrocious that I tend to townread him on this, you need to be really bold to suggest something like that as scum.
I hope for Bozo and Rdrivera's sake they aren't scum together again.

Is this a commentary on the pointlessness of existence? I suggest you get yourself a reservation at Willows Inn on Lummi Island and you will find religion.

I’ll let someone else confirm it for you. But I did warn you that I used to rival brain in terms of voluminousness, what did you think I meant Squigs. Lmao.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
It is not because it is a closed setup, it is because there is no night phase. It has been speculated that the scum have to win the game through lynches, which does not seem particularly likely, but it may be better to not risk lynching town members until we find out.Ezio wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:51 pmOMG it's the classic closed setup NoLynch. How serious are you about this NoLynch Bozo? How much thought have you put into it?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:48 pmIf there is no night, maybe we should no lynch day 1 to see what happens next.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I’m really glad peter’s got his bot working for us now.
Looking at posting patterns the first thing to jump out at me was how many posts Xorxes had made, with so few words. Looking through his posts though there’s a bunch of the usually junk joke posting, but we’re he has been scum hunting it’s been pointed and direct. He’s asking solid questions. I’d put him down as town.
Vecna is playing exactly the same way I’ve seen him play before. Which I always seem to misread as scummy. I think he’s probably town as well.
Which leaves the rest of y’all. I don’t think there is anything in either Ghug or Ezio’s play which has been solidly alignment indicative. Ezio’s play always looks bad to me because I don’t get his logic.
Then we have Balki and ND, both have said a fair bit without actually saying much. I think we are starting to see some good questions from ND. Is Balki always this jokey?
Tom started out with a lot about flavour and not a lot about his vote but he’s leveled some pretty pointed questions at Balki and raises a good point about ND answering all the filler questions. So I’m leaving town.
Flum is playing the same way he always seems to play. I don’t trust it, it feels scummy to me to basically try and keep meaningful contributions to 0 early in the game but With Flum it probably isn’t alignment indicative.
Rdrivera has been fairly middle of the road. Not super active but he’s asked some good questions, so probably slightly town.
I don’t know if I’ve played with Foxcastle before but I don’t love what I’ve seen. Lots of idle speculation no scum hunting.
And Bozo is.... well he’s had an interesting start. Likely NAI for the reasons everyone else has already said

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I wouldn't call brain wordy. He usually gets to the point. He just has a lot of ideas bouncing around in his head which he feels he should share with us.
You, on the other hand, spend six sentences on the same simple idea. And it sounds awkward at times.
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
Do you actually believe this is best for town, or are you just trying to get a conversation. Sounds like you are hedging.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 6:32 pmIt is not because it is a closed setup, it is because there is no night phase. Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I was going through the list by post count and started with xorxes because his words/post and high post count caught my eye, by the time I got to the end I forgot I hadn’t started at the top.
I think you’re probably town. Your questions have progressed to the point of being quite pointed and it feels like you’re actively scum hunting

I decided.
Bozo, given that day one lynches are otherwise a good thing, you'd need the probability of there being no mafia kill to so far surpass the probability that there is so as to outweigh that benefit. Given that the game would likely be broken were that the case, I font think that probability is high.

Awww Ghug. Why'd you post before me. Now it looks like I'm sheeping you, but the only person I sheep is Xorxes.
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I don't like Damians play at all, but I also don't like having such a runaway wagon early.
