That vote for you was just because you voted Xorxes.Tom Bombadil wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 1:51 pmI’m pretty high key offended that Ezio says kill the bad scumhunters and votes me first![]()

OMG it's the classic closed setup NoLynch. How serious are you about this NoLynch Bozo? How much thought have you put into it?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:48 pmIf there is no night, maybe we should no lynch day 1 to see what happens next.

So Ezio likes to propose bad plans. No lynch. This lynch the bad hunters thing. But it sounds like he does this regardless of alignment. You should give it a rest Ezio, try scum hunting from the start.
Also "but mostly because anyone who suggests everyone should post a public list about something ends up being scumread by everyone."
Why do you care? If the public list suggestion is helpful it should be worth getting scum read for.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
There is a chance the scum don't have a kill, and we're playing a game of pure deduction. But I wouldn't want to gamble on that.
Scum kill one of us and we're down to what? 3 mislynches, maybe 2 depending on PRs. Nope.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I care because being scumread as either alignment is a bad thing. The only time you could argue it's potentially a good thing to be slightly scumread is if you're a town PR wanting to avoid the night kill. Otherwise, it's best to avoid things that will get you scumread and mislynched.damian wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:55 pmSo Ezio likes to propose bad plans. No lynch. This lynch the bad hunters thing. Nonono I meant the one with full reveals and no nights where I beat you with a terrible fakeclaim because I misunderstood the setup.Ezio wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 9:24 amlol ok vecna. If it ain't wrong don't break it.
@Ghug this setup is completely different from the discord game we mentioned earlier. This one has alignment flips. The other didn't.
@Flum
TLDR:
Mediocre scumhunters aren't going to solve this game like they can normal games because everyone in this game is (at the very least) solid. There will likely be fewer easy to follow connections. As a result it's significantly more important to keep the good scumhunters alive than in a regular game.
This is not to say only lynch the bad players, but it is important to weigh the scumhunting potential more heavily than in a normal game.
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
I'm not arguing its good to be scum read.
I'm saying town thinking is to prioritize good scum hunting & good play over getting scum read.
Scum thinking is the inverse. Scum players are going to be adverse to taking risks in their scum hunting even if it would be the best course of action.
That why, the main reason not to do it is I'll get scum read is weird. For a town player the main reason not to do it should be, its not worth doing, because it isn't valuable.

Bozo suggestion is so atrocious that I tend to townread him on this, you need to be really bold to suggest something like that as scum.
Ezio, you keep telling the same thing as if people didn't understood your suggestion. I did, just don't agree with you. It's starting to give me bad vibes.

I think Ezio is town. Damian looks pretty shitty.
I want you all to know that I'm very excited about this setup because we're going to waste less time talking about it.
We should lunch whoever it is I'm voting for.

This is the second post of Damian that strike me as odd, why state the obvious this way?damian wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 5:09 pmI'm not arguing its good to be scum read.

Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
Really strong argument here by Flum. If Flum is not scum, he is 100% Town, unless there is a third party. But, I find that a third party role is often referred to as “scum” as well, which would make Flum certainly Town. If anyone sees any holes in this, I’m open to the discussion. But for now I’m putting Fluminator solidly among my town reads.
Re: Mafia Invitational - Welcome to Wakanda
Was there a point to saying any of that Balki, or are you just filling space.
