I'll point out something else about Damo666. In his first few serious posts he didn't half talk about the Town PRs a lot.

Trying to see if any of the newbies flinched and revealed their role?

I have rather done a re-read of Damo666. Here is the rather brief summary, and my rather intelligent findings:

- Starts with a vote on Brain.

- Engages with my questioning of ThdFrance and comments about the nuances of the flavour wording. Calls ThdFrance unintelligence in the same sentence as mis-spelling the word "agency". Lel. (p3)

- Votes Xorxes.

- Asks which PRs we would like to be in the game.

- Unvotes from Xorxes in response to Xorxes voting for him.

- Says all his votes so far were joke votes.

- Continues to talk about the potential town PRs.

- Throws his vote onto Worcej without comment or explanation. When questioned, explains that this is because Worcej used the word "rather". Seriously, go back to page 6 and look at this shit. Damo's reason for voting Worcej was because he used the word "rather". BS.

- Comes up with some weird statistical analysis of the usefulness of no-lynching.

- Encourages me to vote for Worcej. When I ask why, he repeats the thing about the word "rather".

- Unvotes Worcej and votes me because I was checking when EoD was.


Conclusions:

1. Damo was really rather quick to un-vote Xorxes and say he was joking, as soon as Xorxes responded to his vote. Could Damo be rather worried that he had upset his team-mate by making him a potential wagon? If Xorxes flips scum that really rather implicates Damo for me.

2. His reason for voting Worcej was, rather amazingly, even worse than Bozo's rather shitty reason. Worcej said "rather" and is therefore scum? Give us a break.

3. His vote for me is rather bizzzzzarrrrre and he hasn't explained it.

This argument against damo seems very similar to my argument against him in M40, right down to the D1 "joke vote" on xorxes.

@DrCJG: Why exactly are you voting for me? You quote several people in your vote post but it's not clear what does what they say have to do with your vote. You say I'm hedging in my comment about bozo's plan, but what could the scum motivation to hedge on a mechanics question be?

@Xorxes - Although there are reasons for town to avoid a position and try to blend in, I generally find hedging particularly on mechanics to be scum indicative. Town doesn't have as much information so it can be natural to be uncertain in reads... but when it comes to mechanics we are all on even footing.

With that in mind: Neph, thd, Worcej, and Xorxes all posted similar gibberish regarding Bozo's propositions. They did not take aggressive negative postures like Brain/Jamie nor did they attempt to discuss it like I did. Instead, they each avoided an opinion or argument regarding it by stating they didn't think it would work because we wouldn't get everyone on board.

I find this reasoning to be scummy and the fact that you choose to attack my vote on you rather than properly address his proposition with a position doesn't help your case. In answer to your question, the scum motivation to hedge on a mechanics question is the same reason scum ever hedge to remain flexible while blending in...

While I am currently willing to vote for any of Neph, thd, Worcej, and Xorxes, I was already getting scum vibes from you. You're posts have rarely seemed directed towards stirring the pot or forcing positions that can be helpful for solving the game, yet I think you are reading closely (then again maybe your reading comprehension is just higher than Jamie and Brain) and of the few questions you have asked there has been very little or no follow up.

I am always opposed to a D1 "no lynch". I have never liked the idea and never will. Lynches provide information. Information helps town.
