It would be if he still hasn't shown up in a few hours. It's not like Ike to be this absent.
I'd kind of like to see Xorxes' response to being on the block first.

Can you elaborate on this a little, is there anything more that you have to add other than the initial few posts you mentioned a page ago? Normally how good are you at reading him?

Maybe worcej realized there was no getting around making a fake claim as scum.

I'm inclined to agree with Jamie on this one, I don't think just yet there is any reason to be throwing out votes for Ike yet, after all there is still a reasonable amount of time left today and even then my personal opinion is that it would be only viable if we don't have any scum-reads.

my personal hesitancy revolves around the trade off of time that I personally think it better used scumhunting. It seems from the other games I have semi-followed that the PRs manage to leave the clues so that post-flip its obvious which is the same scenario in which the hypo claim becomes useful.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:19 pm1. hypo cop/tracker/friendly neighbor claims, yes or no?

Seeing as he never lies, surely at the start of every game he would be pressured to hard-claim town (as we have already seen).bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:21 pmMaybe worcej realized there was no getting around making a fake claim as scum.

The problem is that these clues often get picked up by scum before the PR flips.Nephthys wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:24 pmmy personal hesitancy revolves around the trade off of time that I personally think it better used scumhunting. This is how I would expect scum to react, I think brainbomb is now my second most likely scum suspect after worcej. The brainbomb/Jamie interactions are obviously different than in recent games, maybe they are scum together.

As an example, a cop is likely to scan someone he has publicly scum read, and if he gets an innocent scan, he may then make his scan target one of his top town reads to make his scan obvious if he gets NKed. Scum looking for PRs might pick up on read changes like this.Nephthys wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:33 pmForgive me for being naive but how?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:27 pmThe problem is that these clues often get picked up by scum before the PR flips.Nephthys wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:24 pm

Surely keeping it simple and in a reads list would keep things from being noticed to easily?
If that truly is the case then, your idea may have more validity than I initially thought.

What incentive would scum have to avoid claiming to be town?bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:25 pmworcej is my top scum suspect based on what appeared to be an attempt to avoid hard claiming town.

Bozo why are you so bad today?

Hmmm while I do see where you are coming from, for the reason alone would the PR not be better to go for a null, unless they were the only person scum reading the person and were sure.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:38 pmAs an example, a cop is likely to scan someone he has publicly scum read, and if he gets an innocent scan, he may then make his scan target one of his top town reads to make his scan obvious if he gets NKed. Since worcej has maintained in past games that he never makes fake claims, he may have tried to avoid making a fake town claim until is was obvious he would keep getting pressured until he made the claim.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:41 pmSeriously, Bozo, walk us through scum Worcej's thought process, if he was indeed unwilling to say if he was town or not.
#219 Post by bozotheclown » Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:50 pm
A cop will typically try to catch a scum, which is why they will want to scan a top scum read. I suppose a cop could keep his top scum read hidden, but that then makes it harder to be sure of his innocent scans after he gets NKed.Nephthys wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:44 pmHmmm while I do see where you are coming from, for the reason alone would the PR not be better to go for a null, unless they were the only person scum reading the person and were sure.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 11:38 pmAs an example, a cop is likely to scan someone he has publicly scum read, and if he gets an innocent scan, he may then make his scan target one of his top town reads to make his scan obvious if he gets NKed. It seems to me that you could easily just adapt your play style to ensure that scum can't tell what you are doing?
That being said I do have some more understanding of your position now.
