I think this is 19 so I'll just give the yes to this one.
And I'll clarify that I took a bit of a broad interpretation of "politics, military, or government." So you all may have to think slightly outside the box. Although I don't think too far outside. But, if it turns out I was horribly misleading and no one is close, I'll open the door to a few more questions rather than continuing to drop clues.

I wasn't 100% sure of his exact birthplace but I'm in a restaurant and I didn't want to be seen looking up Osama Bin Laden's Wikipedia page in public.
