He steals from the poor, and he gives to the rich...Ernst_Brenner wrote: ↑Mon May 19, 2025 12:07 pmBorn before the signing of the treaty of Westphalia (24 October 1648) as referred to in the Monty Python episode "Dennis Moore", the title character of which you may most prominently remember as a Robin Hood knockoff, although his particular idiom involved stealing flowers (known as lupins) from the rich and giving them to the poor, which ended up not helping them very much, as he had probably confused them for tulips!

Re: Twenty Questions Game 557
Nice pick. I started going down this road after the passes and some of the other questions. At first I thought it was another Garamond type but you ruled that out. Then I started looking at various famous works of art: Phantom of the Opera, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Count of Monte Cristo... actually overlooked the Three Musketeers at first until seeing it on Wikipedia and finding out that d'Artagnan was a real person.

i was going to choose M. de Treville for a while but his real counterpart is a bit obscure so i went with d'artagnan (and actually didn't know he was real until this game lol)Aristocrat wrote: ↑Mon May 19, 2025 2:21 pmNice pick. That's funny, I was on the same trail and even looked up the individual musketeers but forgot about d'Artagnan himself.Aristocrat wrote: ↑Mon May 19, 2025 2:21 pmNice pick.
