I'm not at all equipped to run a game, but I'm curious, has anyone ever done a setup with two competing Mafia teams?

how about chaos mafia?

like everybody is their own mafia team but two people need to make a kill for it to go through or smth like that so it plays somewhat similarly to a game of diplomacy

What about a game where everyone is their own individual mafia team but theres no nightkills, and all that matters is surviving the day kills, and once theres 2 people left the people voted out get to vote who the winner is

Completely original idea btw, not ripped from anything else

To make this even better, instead of running that game, you should run a normal game of mafia, but just use your idea as the flavor.

I personally, and corporately, apologize for not doing my job.

The Kouncil ruled as a whole to not proceed with Jamie's return to membership on the Kouncil. Jamie is an extremely valuable member of our community, and is a leader, a servant, a participant, and is very very active.

HIs nomination to return to the Kouncil was discussed, and voted on. Without speaking for any other Kouncil member, it was clear that Jamie is respected and appreciated, but some temperamental issues were raised. So Kouncil did not opt to ignore our standard of ' great care should be taken to install folk who have been banned/disciplined on the kouncil.' (My wording... not official.)

Whether I agreed with the decision or not, the decision is not what causes this apology publicly to Jamie.

But I (we) should have contacted Jamie and explained, and not caused him to know of our decision only when he checked the forum.

Traditionally, that kind of thing has been MY role on Kouncil.

And (for various reasons which all sound like excuses to me this morning) I did not do that.

So: JAMIET99UK. I appreciate your presence, your mind, your passion, your willingness, your experience, your ginger-ness, your participation, your leadership, and your friendship. I apologize for taking you for granted in this matter of Kouncilorship. I should have written to you immediately upon the Kouncil's decision. I back-burnered you when you deserve and ARE a front burner kind of guy in my life. Will you forgive me?

I am not contesting the Kouncil's decision, I was just surprised that I wasn't informed of it. Thanks for setting the record straight.
