Because he's confirmed to not have the SP and if Mafia killed him + got lucky with potato explosions they could have won right then and there. Instead they somehow correctly figured out who had the SP? Or they got lucky/unlucky? Idk about that.

I explicitly didn't which is why I'm surprised. You are the first person in the game so far to reveal and confirm you aren't holding the SP at night, and yet you lived. Not only that, the SP gets removed the very same night.

Yeah, so you have two possibilities: either I'm a fucking genius that has a foolproof master plan and chose not to try to win in order to play a long game, but also I'm probably a leading candidate for a daykill today, or scum feels like they're gonna easily get me and they went for someone else!

Hmm. RD said they will send it to Dream, if I'm not mistaken, so maybe we should vote RD, but maybe it was a big lie. If they knew the rotten potato was still in the game, they might've switched their throw targets, to get a hold onto it.

If we vote out the one who has the rotten potato, we would be pretty much screwed, but maybe I'm overthinking it. Maybe RD just threw it to Dream like he said. I dunno.

Yeah, could be they didn't know that the rotten potato was still in the game, so they probably wouldn't have any plan for something like that. So in that case RD would most likely still throw to Dream, and thus not have the rotten potato.

Scum!Bo tosses it to a townie, then orders that townie killed. Explains how the the Mafia found the SP so easily, and why Bo is still alive. 3 people in the game know where the SP was.

Town!Bo tosses it to a scum. Scum then orders a self-kill to remove the SP. Plausible, but why not just kill Bo? Perhaps they think they can get him daykilled. 3 people in the game know where the SP was.
