Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)

Some thoughts reviewing earlier days:

1. On Day 1, Control parked a vote on Dream and then placed an invalid vote on mimi. There's also some really inconsistent back and forth on his Dream read (see http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?user=Control&part=n1-&g=93 and search for Dream) but I'm not yet sure it's scummy.

2. On Day 2, Bozo stayed parked on Dip. The major back and forth this day was between Red and Damo, and since we now know that both were town, I think mafia was particularly uncaring between these two; Bozo's parked vote and Control flipping back and forth between them is notable. Other mafia likely were more or less noncommittal in these wagons.

3. On Day 3, Bozo was voting Dip and then Will, while Control voted Damo. I argue that if Will or kak was scum, these votes would not make sense, especially if Kak is scum, since then Bozo's last vote and post, 2 hours out from EoD, would have been risky. This makes me think Kak is pretty solidly town.

4. Earlier in Day 3, Bozo was up with only 3 votes, and those votes were from Dip, Will, and Kak. One suspicious thing here is Will moving his vote from Bozo to no-kill; is this a way to lower the intensity on Bozo's wagon and push Kak ahead? To me, this completely kills any chance of a Will-Kak scum pair.

5. Day 4 was all about Control vs. Kak. If a bus happened here, bo_sox looks the worst, with it possible that Will or yavu was also bussing from earlier on. The other option would be that mafia were voting elsewhere, but that would implicate only myself and Dip, and I know I'm town, and Dip seems likely town, so I'm not sure I believe this. I think mafia were bussing hard this day.

So on the balance, I think I'd rank things as such:

I'm surprised that RD hasn't gotten any votes, besides mine. I mean, I haven't seen things from him that would make me point to him and say 'mafia!', sure, but I also know from experience that RD is very clean when he is mafia.

And compared to yavu and Chaqa, who both had some stuff that make me say 'that was very towny', RD doesn't have something like that. I feel people are overlooking RD here quite a lot. And I think that's a mistake here.

I mean, maybe I'm completely wrong and either Chaqa or yav has me fooled, but my gut is saying that both are feeling more likely town than RD here.

Fundamentally the problem I have is that most of the suspicion on me is just "hurr durr Chaqa scum b/c low effort" but like first off, I've always been a lower-activity player, and I've always played by my own style, so it just feels like the same old stink I get every time because people just can't fathom that someone plays the game differently.

I don't have a nose for solving by picking out scum so easily. Sometimes I'll get them right but it's usually due to some knowledge only I'm aware of or some interesting theory I pick up on.

I think voting for any of rdr, yavu, bo, and Dream has a good chance of finding scum. I'd be pretty shocked if both remaining scum are not in there.

I don't remember RD solving much. I do some from the Chaq-man though. Maybe I'm biased because of their content, but Chaqa did correctly figure out my alignment. RD says I'm likely mafia. If I don't misunderstand that is.

I would be down to vote Rdrivera. My main driver for Yavu over Chaqa/Rdrivera is it's easier to spot an active mafia than a lurking one, and Yavu has been especially scummy this phase in a way that feels like flailing mafia.

Bunny and Bo were pretty clearly going to flip onto Control V, a smart mafia would see this coming and want to be in on the action.
