Long post 1/2:
Will's voting and responses to votes against him in this game have been atrocious.
I first picked up on this after D1, when I made a post analyzing three votes. Nobody seemed to really care much about it, so I'll quote that analysis what Will did on day 1 that caught my eye. Feel free to gloss over it if you have already read it and taken it seriously.
Day 2 is interesting as well, and not just for his votes. But I'll focus on his votes initially. His first vote that caught my eye was his vote on Red.
Before voting for Red, or anyone, he asks a question, piggybacking off of Jamie.

That's day 1.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 10, 2025 2:23 amContext: three minutes left in the phase. Will was voting for Bunny, then jumped to vote mimi, then jumped back to Bunny when mimi claimed. Nobody else was voting for Bunny.
Why it's interesting: It's a meaningless vote.
What I think: scummy.
Two minutes prior to the above vote, with five minutes left in the day, Will showed up.
Then, he voted for mimi.
Mimi then softclaimed.
Will then said he wanted to keep DW alive. At the time, DW had 3 votes against them. ND had 5 (including Kaka) and mimi had 4. Will believed he was putting mimi in the lead despite the soft.
After that, mimi hardclaimed and Will voted for Bunny.
The appropriate, and obvious, move if Will actually gave a damn about keeping DW alive and was voting with that goal in mind was to move to ND. That move, even with Kaka on the wagon, would have put ND in the lead over both DW and mimi, and arguably could have been the deciding vote. Instead, he moved to Bunny, a non-wagon, and tied the vote between ND and mimi. So I asked - did Will townread ND?
No! He did not. He wrote this post with 1 minute left in the day and with Bunny at a single vote. All I see from Will is needlessly and without much effort pushing for a wagon that does not exist and going a long way to avoid stamping his name on a miskill. In doing so, he made himself completely irrelevant at the EOD.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Wed Apr 09, 2025 8:59 pmI’m unsure of ND but I think Bunny here is a better option

Four hours later, after seemingly randomly voting for Control and brain, and without a response from Red, he votes for Red.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 3:35 pmI feel at some point you should have *some* sembleance of a worldviewRed Neurax wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 12:32 amidk man. i have revealed my suspicions of control v but i don't think there's much to go off on anybody as of right now. for me at least, i don't have a real idea of what a good plan is
What do you think of BUnny?
20 minutes prior to this, he had voted for brain.
What makes this scummy? Not really that much. It seems random, and we know there is no bussing in there with those two. However, a few people voted for him anyway, and he flipped the fuck out.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 6:14 pmI think Brain is much easier to read than worcej
##VOTE BRAIN science
This reaction screams bus to me. Dream, Kaka, and D&W voted for him in fairly quick succession. Town shouldn't care - they recognize a lazy, good-for-nothing wagon when they see it. But Will cares, and he responds to those who voted for him. First Dream:
This "case" against Will is terrible. Generally lacking in substance, not aggressive enough to stick, just a vibes thing. Will's response to it feels ... muted? Why not fight back? Why not press Dream? Maybe it's just not Will's style. Moving on (next post)JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:27 pmOk Dream heres where we’re atDreamTrawler wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:36 pmBut anyway, I am changing my vote again, sorry Bo. I found your post at the top of page 48 to be well reasoned and I have felt suspicious of Will for a while.
Chaqa is kind of sus but partially due to low participation and not understanding mechanics. Will has not provided a good explanation for his D1 voting pattern (I thought Bunny was mafia is not a good answer) and he's continuing to switch votes as if to start random wagons of town.
And despite Control V's vendetta against me I don't think Control V is the best daykill here and I feel like people who are saying that are trying to earn my goodwill.
##vote JustAGuyNamedWill
I get you’re suspicious of me. I’m always sus as town. But ask yourself if I resemble my scum game at all. You had first hand experience of how I play. This is not my mafia game
And why is “I thought Bunny was mafia” not a good answer? Why else would I vote someone unless it was to prevent a tie
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Long post 2/2:
Will's response to D&W, the third voter against him, was a bit more aggressive.
On to his response to Kaka:
Let's go back to Will's reads and try to figure this out. This is 7 hours prior to all this.
Billy Mays: but wait, there's more!
Unless Kaka's the one who bussed you. Yeah, that tracks. You're pissed the fuck off.
Speaking of Kaka, their vote against brain, their second to last vote of the day, came with this:
One more little tidbit:
Will's vote never moved away from Kaka all day, even though Kaka moved theirs. But Will did vote again! For Kaka. Lol
tl;dr I just used a lot of words and quotes to pluck the Will-Kaka scumteam out of thin air and I'll happily vote for either of them
Will's response to D&W, the third voter against him, was a bit more aggressive.
I don't really get why this "case" - again, terrible, far worse than the previous - even warrants a response. What is the gain? What is the point? But it's reasonable enough, I suppose, and asks a pertinent question that I would ask as well if I felt the need to respond.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:29 pmDoesn’t mean I’m mafiaDiplomacyandWarfare wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:05 pmyay will wagon

On to his response to Kaka:
Hold up. THIS is the most sus? Why? They all suck. They're all absolutely atrocious votes without substance. How is this 0/10 level skill vote worse than the other two 0/10 level skill votes?JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:28 pmKak were you not just agreeing with my towncore?Kakarroto wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:57 pmhmm, how sure are you we have another Antonius?DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:50 pm
Control V’s biggest impact on the game has been scumreading me. The wagon against CV feels a bit forced, especially with Red Neurax saying CV is sus and then dipping. It feels like at least one of the people scumreading or voting for Control V is trying to get me to join the wagon on a misguided townie.
should Cicero follow Metellus Cimber, this time around?
guess I should as I'm the writer of The Willippics

This vote is the most sus of my voters
Let's go back to Will's reads and try to figure this out. This is 7 hours prior to all this.
This explains the lack of gusto toward D&W pretty well. Will townread them, so instantly scumreading them is tough. Dream and Kaka, on the other hand, are "meh" reads - not in the list of folks that Will would vote for, but close enough.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 3:47 pmSchoolgoat

Will votes for Kaka here. It's interesting that Dream and Kaka are identically placed in his reads but his response is cordial with Dream and aggressively OMGUSing Kaka. Again, what was so much worse about what Kaka did than the other two?JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 10:31 pmChat we should not kill me today wait until lylo so kak can take me out
##VOTE KAK
@Kak explain your vote and reconcile your case with your agreement with my towncore
Unless Kaka's the one who bussed you. Yeah, that tracks. You're pissed the fuck off.
Speaking of Kaka, their vote against brain, their second to last vote of the day, came with this:
Compelling? Eh, it's reasonable. Compare and contrast this vote with Kaka's vote on Will, reposted for clarity:Kakarroto wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:58 pmbefore you claimed, your vote was thought as real, except for me who knew. You could've used this to push your reads, because, as you yourself said, there are people who ignore your reads.
It boggles my mind how you can even THINK that it's a good idea to throw that potential away, like, even if I was mafia and had revealed that in maf chat, the majority in the game wouldn't know and you could see who reacts in what kind to that. That way you could even try to see if any mafia reveals to have too much information.
But claiming so soon and throwing all that away? With 'oh my reads are ignored anyway' that's just a wasted day for you, at least from your point of you, when you think that so many would ignore your reads
actually that situation would suit maf-brain a lot, thinking about it. Like intentionally invalidating his vote to just coast a day, and just post a lot of nonsense. I really don't like that. ##vote brainbomb
Kaka didn't want Will dead. Kaka wanted to opportunistically drop a line on the Will wagon with the chance to look good if Will's erratic behavior got him flipped.
One more little tidbit:
Will's vote never moved away from Kaka all day, even though Kaka moved theirs. But Will did vote again! For Kaka. Lol
This is two minutes before the deadline. He's fighting a wagon against Red, who was higher in his scumreads than Kaka and in his "would" vote for pool, while Red had 8 votes on him. It could seem innocent, especially if you don't agree with my thinking and simply believe I'm an idiot at this point, but this is actually what got me started when I read back through EOD2. Why do this? The only way I can make sense of it is as a halfhearted bus against Kaka, maybe even a sarcastic one. It just strikes me as completely out of place otherwise.
tl;dr I just used a lot of words and quotes to pluck the Will-Kaka scumteam out of thin air and I'll happily vote for either of them
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Full disclosure, I haven't read D3 at all. I'll do that in the time I have tomorrow. Sorry I've been absent; the weekend and work today were extremely busy. Tomorrow is busy too but I'll find time even if I miss EOD.

Hard to write it down. I just feel he is doing what he does as scum, make a lot of noise, but not really push anything. His exchange with DW is an example of this.

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
I have read all of today. I just didn't read the last hours of D2 (but I read the last minutes on the bot). Chaqa is on his scum range, not engaging with the game and making just the bare minimum to avoid more pressure. His vote on Bunny because Ghug and Brain will do is an example.Control V wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 7:04 amHow much had you read of the current day and why Chaqa specifically?rdrivera2005 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 15, 2025 3:19 am##vote Damo
