Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
There were equally potential wagons until the last hour. If I'm right and damo is scum, other scums just need to develop one of the wagons against him. It doesn't matter if its stagnant between them in the last hour, it matters to have all hands in the deck to push the town wagon.JustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 7:48 pmIt was not stagnant on damo. It was stagnant between damo and red. Scum would have moved a lot more and tehre woulda been more chaosControl V wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 7:41 pmI Don't think the VC was stagnant on Damo. I don’t believe scum saved damo. Town saved damo, and unfortunately ended up on another townie. An stagnant VC like the one yesterday really indicates scum didnt need to do anything, and I think it’s indicative of TvT
I’m not saying *no* wolves were involved, I’m saying wolves had no real stake
Normally it is a pretty nice spot to end the day as mafia, a wagon of 67% confirmed towns. But rivera voted pretty early and didn't leave when damo was the top wagon. If damo is indeed scum, this doesn't confirm Rivera is town but pretty nice work he did.

Doesnt rly matter tho

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
how do you think this fits in if bb was indeed the nk with a rotten potato? in my mind you/kak/bo/ctrl should be saved for later since you're slightly cleared (not entirely but enough that i'd prefer to not kill in that pool today)

i still scum read you slightly more than dip but it is weird that he's getting a good bit of shade but not many votes

dream is likely scum in a damo/dw t/t world, and also likely in a damo scum world imo. he's been pushing in such a way to be voting damo but still shading dw which could either be scum trying to get bus credit but still having an escape valve if it seems hopeful that damo can be saved, or scum trying to keep the wagons t/t. i still think damo is better to resolve today though.
tentative towncore atm is me, rivera, bozo, ctrl, kak, bo, and will. the first four are strong town reads and the last four are more likely town than not given the bb flip. if i had to distill it it would be me, rivera, bozo, and ctrl, with bozo and ctrl potentially scum but easier to solve w/ a flip

Why am I paired with Damo? Because I questioned the Damo wagon yesterday?miminena wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:17 pmdream is likely scum in a damo/dw t/t world, and also likely in a damo scum world imo. he's been pushing in such a way to be voting damo but still shading dw which could either be scum trying to get bus credit but still having an escape valve if it seems hopeful that damo can be saved, or scum trying to keep the wagons t/t. i still think damo is better to resolve today though.

And if I'm so likely to be scum regardless of Damo's alignment why not vote me?
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
the damo wagon actually didn't have much potential in the first place so saving him if he's scum wasn't really necessaryJustAGuyNamedWill wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 7:48 pmIt was not stagnant on damo. i do think that there was scum on red or else the team is all encapsulated within bo/bunny/bozo/will/rivera which i find very unlikely but i also agree that damo wasn't necessarily saved

Really wish Bunny would tell us who the 4th SP holder is. Or they could tell us themselves.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
i explained in the post but to restate, you started the day shading dw with damo but switched very quickly to damo when he started to get pressure. thus in a world where you two are paired you are trying to get bus credit while still pushing his worldviewDreamTrawler wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:24 pmWhy am I paired with Damo? as to why i want to flip damo over you, flipping damo is more conducive to helping resolve dw and bozo, who are both rather enigmatic this game. you, on the other hand, don't really help to resolve that much from what i've seen

@control v
could you condense your thoughts on everyone? you're one of the people i trust the most atm so i would like to know your general worldview

I could easily have unvoted instead of voting Damo, Dip even asked me to do so after explaining. But it seems like you're strongly convinced so I'll drop it for now.miminena wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:31 pmi explained in the post but to restate, you started the day shading dw with damo but switched very quickly to damo when he started to get pressure. thus in a world where you two are paired you are trying to get bus credit while still pushing his worldviewDreamTrawler wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:24 pmWhy am I paired with Damo? Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
this is precisely why i read you as paired with damo. i think you're trying to ride on bus credit since earlier when you did a similar flip-flop vote on worcej, who has now flipped town, you unvoted. when it comes down to it though 90% of the time i'm voting damo or dw today, most likely sticking on damoDreamTrawler wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 8:37 pmI could easily have unvoted instead of voting Damo, Dip even asked me to do so after explaining. Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
1. Damo
2. Will
3. Control V or rdrivera maybe
4. ??? Kakarroto? Bunny? Yavuz? Bozo?
The last phase really upended all my reads besides that you are town. I was strongly townreading Bozo until now.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
My worldview isn't completely stable but Dip is probably town off something Bozo said, Damo feels not town, gth Will appears to be confbiased on Damo being town.
You are probably town. Yavu seems towny today. Bunny felt towny early in the game but I can't be confident without them posting more.
Dream also has gotten a lot better imo but I could be recency biased.
The rest Is PoE gth.
