can someone please explain to me why jamie being killed and bb exploding is more likely than bb just having told the truth and was targeted by scum to get two players out? it feels well within the idea of him being prone to fakeclaim that he would honestly claim to have the rotten potato but lie about who he was targeting to try to bait scum

1. Claim to have a potato d1 so you can locate the rotten potato by who doesn't want you to pass a potato to them, and also so that people generally pay more attention to you try to buddy you etc

Thats a good point. Especially since me and jamie are confirmed town + you being likely town means that brain’s top 3 scumreads were at risk of getting RPed

The thing is I need to factor in Kak. If Kak is mafia, I’d wager that mafia killed Jamie and Brain exploded. I dont think mafia Kak would put himself at risk like that

I dont think mafia would kill Brain and hope I get taken down with him because conflict between two townies is good for mafia

will definitely reads as a scum with a partner on the line who is trying to save them while also hedging enough to have an out if it feels hopeless. also shading bozo is generally unproductive atm imo although i'm not going to criticize someone's methodology

If we miskill twice (or even once with bad potato luck), then if a townie ends up with the couch potato in LYLO we are literally just screwed and town loses
