Do you mean that I switched from Chaqa to Will to Red and then asked “why is no one voting for Chaqa/Will/Red?” Because that’s not really inconsistent. And Will is who I really want to vote. Maybe I will (hah).bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 6:41 pmI already did, and nobody seemed to care, which makes me even more suspicious!
But I have a birthday thing to go to and will probably miss EOD so I guess I should ##VOTE Chaqa because that’s who I actually want today and he has once again vanished since his wagon vanished.

Chaqa is the hardest read. I dont think him dying hurts the game if hes town. So by all means remove him

I Like this for Dream/Damo a lot lot.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 4:58 pmAlso these wagons are terrible lol
Wtf happened to the votes for Red, Chaqa, Will
I think Kaka and Dip are pretty townie, especially Dip. Seems like a lot of other people think that so why are they two of the leading wagons?
votes for Damo - why?
And Dip is voting Bozo?? Come onnn
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
That’s because he hasn’t done anything to help the game. If he’s town I’m not going to sit here and feel bad about making a fair case on him and him doing nothing to change my mind.

Kak is being very abrasive this phase.
Calling Yavuzovic "stupid".
Berating Brainbomb for deciding to claim the Couch Potato.
This isn't Kak's usual tone, in my recollection.

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Yeah, that is inconsistent, because you’re influential in these wagons and making the subject feel pressure. Jumping to another is fine. Jumping to another and then wondering why we aren’t all doing the work for you that you chose not to do is inconsistent.DreamTrawler wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 6:42 pmDo you mean that I switched from Chaqa to Will to Red and then asked “why is no one voting for Chaqa/Will/Red?” Because that’s not really inconsistent. Why do I feel like people are wanting me to blame
Bozo for my claiming couch potato.
Like I truly feel like there is an underlying hope that someone wants me to make it Bozos fualt
And I dont feel this way

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Early D2 there were wagons against Red and Chaqa. I left Chaqa to start the Will wagon. When I went to sleep Will was leading with 4 votes and he was desperately trying to convince me he is town. When I woke up today I was the only vote remaining on Will somehow, and the Red and Chaqa wagons had both disappeared.bo_sox48 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 6:45 pmYeah, that is inconsistent, because you’re influential in these wagons and making the subject feel pressure. That was why I said what I said, because I think Kaka/Dip/damo/Jamie is a terrible set of wagons.

Maybe town, as it seems bullheadishly frustrating as Bo does in mafia, but also could be mafia knowing I'm an easy miskill. Still, I'm not gonna be accused of OMGUS, so I won't vote him today.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:16 pmDoes your interaction with Bo make you think that Bo is aggressive scum or mistaken town?Chaqa wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 1:00 amI've been here since night basically. I just have stuff going on a lot. I'm trying to get a feel for all the new players but I also have not read any of day 1 basically, so I'm kinda finding my footing.
What sucks is the only real interaction I'm having is with bo, which is just tedious.
I may give him a potato if I receive another one

I saw you mentioned P153 for Rivera, but I had to go look up what it was. I was expecting some super insightful comment
My concern is you're not quoting posts but referencing them this way and I wonder if it could be a way to have some easy lazy reads, maybe on a teammate?
Just a thought

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Like this post. People in general try to focus too much on votes and not on substance. Vote analysis is best done when it's done holistically and examining how wagons develop, not necessarily where someone's vote ends up at the EODyavuzovic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:17 pmI disagree. We will know he had couch potato. We will inspect his reads not his votes on D2. I support brain and all future couch potatoes to vote nokillJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:11 pmOh yes you have the Couch Potato don't you.
Thanks for the reminder.
Your vote still matters as a lasting indication of your suspicions, however.

I think there's some core design flaws in Civ 7. The evolving civilizations just do not do it for me.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 2:42 pmto be fair, 7 is newly out and isn't finished like the other games. The other things I dislike is the UI, and the monetization from it. It began with 6, but the anthology package was a great offer, so I took that, and never regretted buying it.Chaqa wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 12:00 amOnly an unpopular opinion in the weird circle of the internet WebDip exists in. Its not the same gameplay loop as 5 but saying its unfun is not true
Civ 5 punished you for building a civilization. It just wanted you to build a Tri-City area. Civ 6 is like Civ 4 in that it feels like you're progressing outward and expanding.
Civ 7 trash tho fr
for 7, it still has time to improve, and I hope past developments are repeated. But as is, 7 is not only vastly overpriced, but an inferior product
Re: the UI, I've seen evidence unironically that Luigi Mangione was responsible for fixing a bunch of Civ UI errors when he worked for Firaxis. Odd tidbit
