Who are your scumreads? I want to know so I can remind you how flawed your (or anyone's) reads are in D2. We just started the game, you're supposed to know nothing, and if you really are town and still have townclears without a power role that gives information, you are the one who has low expectations from the players who play mafia.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
I guess based on the wagons and where you are voting you are calling me a overly tinfoily one?
What was tinfoil about my reads?

but dip is the most town of all the others. Vote for someone else than him. And me. Preferable Red, or Control V, or brainyavuzovic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 3:22 pmYeah you got a point I must agree with this. Though then you stayed on a lead wagon, potentially impacting people's decisions.Kakarroto wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 3:16 pmhypotheticalyavuzovic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 3:06 pm
What is why? I'm against keeping potatoes secret. I support revealing and tracking them. Mafia can't hold them forever and they must eventually get rid of them. Both couch and hot potatos. In my post I only want brain to vote somewhere else and implicitly defend revealing couch potato for future holders.
you've gotten the couch potato
you immediatly claim at the time you got the PM
everyone knows you can't do jack shit for the next day phase
what have we learned? What is the incentive to do anything for those phases? People will just ignore you, or at least feel no danger from you. You can't really impact decisions.
I'm not against revealing, and not against avoiding any ties. Feel free to vote 'no kill' after you've claimed.
But with the threat alone of your vote, and the information if people knew who shouldn't, you can get information about others. I don't say "do not claim". I'm saying "claim towards the end of the day". 15, 10 minutes before EoD would be great. Earlier if you can't be there for EoD. But it gives such a card blanc to just do nothing when you claim early
Okay okay ka-karrot man, I must overcome my xenophobia. I'm going back to ##vote Diplomacy and warfare. He must go.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
What makes dip towny. He is my top scumread. I want to kill him.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
town brain would've kept that information hidden and pushed his maf reads, and if town brain would read me as mafia, would've also looked out who potentially knew and might be my partner.
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
I might make it sound like I have a plan to look smart or intelligent, but mostly I wing it. Like maybe some rough outskirts, what if's, but a plan to follow? Nah
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
I think Jamie should weigh in on this actually
Because me keeping mech and information to myself is like “never” a thing. This has never been true for almost a decade and Jamie has famously said brain will cream his pants blurting out any form of information he has about the game without any consideration.
Please do point to a game that supports your argument. Id love to hear that one

Yea it just exists in the headspace of my mind where worcej was a viable miskill and you effectively made his chances of voting a counterwagon to
Himself impossible.
You should really be arguing strongly why worcej was obv scum to you and why I still am

I'm just much better at finding town than mafia. A lot of people are. You haven't played here in a while, I guess?yavuzovic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 3:30 pmWho are your scumreads? I'm most sus about Red, Will, Control V and brain right now. Probably haven't have the team there, but weeding out from here is a good start.
And I don't know why you suddenly talk about clears, we'll only have them with the help of the sweet potato. But you should have, as others, at least some who you are reasonable sure they are town, like dip. I mean, yeah, I could be wrong there, it's not my ultimative knowledge, but I don't think I'm so bad to get it wrong
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
he has no malignent drive, there is just headless chicken chaos. Trying to find out stuff, going from one point to another, expermimenting. Nothing more than pure want to know more. No vitriol. That's so different from the times where he is mafia and tries to make bad stuff stick
Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
Not sure if youre familiar with what one note scum play is
But the concept is you have an agenda and the best way to further that agenda is to just keep repeating it like an advertising slogan again and again in slightly different ways.
They do this down in georgia with billboards for pecan plantations. The first few billboards you see you laugh and say “we dont need pecans”
By the 30th billboard warning you that the exit for pecans is a mile away you not only want pecans, you have your wallet out; your wife is
Looking up their website. The kids wanna try the saltwater taffy and youre getting some Goddamn pecans.
That relates to this scenario in that you are a one note advertising campaign for that worcej was mafia; that bb misplayed claiming.
Soon the whole family will be taking exit brainbomb to try his tinfoil flavored pecans

I don't have the time ti visit past games, but I refuse to believe that town brain would squander that situation so muchbrainbomb wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 3:37 pmI think Jamie should weigh in on this actually

do you even read what I'm saying? Worcej DECREASED after I thought about it more in his likeliness being mafia for me, at night. I thought for a bit I might've made a mistake giving him the potato, but you are really assuring me I was right to do so

Im reading your posts making the same conclusion that I am mafia because town brain would never claim to have a nullified vote.

Re: Mafia round 93: hot potato! (game thread)
I pointed that stuff out in various games, that repetition of bad info. That was stuff that maf-dip did, a lot, and others too. I despice this in advertisments so much that I begin to hate a product and actively avoid buying it when I come across an overly offensive ad wave like that.brainbomb wrote: ↑Sat Apr 12, 2025 3:46 pmNot sure if youre familiar with what one note scum play is

And it's disgusting how you twist my read, which changed from my suspiciouns of worcej to him being much more null, into me wanting to hammer him. Read me for real! But you are just picking out stuff that fits your narrative, it seems, and you are twisting what doesn't fit how you want to see it!

What is the term virtue signaling? False flagging?
I know this is a thing where you ferment a narrative to suit an agenda
