I dont think there is any reason to make people uncertain of if wagons are real or not. My opinions on the game are secondary to people being able to trust that ties are not a secret possibility
there's always the option to overstack a wagon to make sure no tie happens, especially since the potato is traceable, and there is only one of its kind

revealing when it's close is one thing, but we don't need to overhype that tie possibility. It's much more worth to get information from voting

Again, my reads on the game are generally ignored en masse anyway. Claiming seemed beneficial to knowing that mafia did not hold a couch potato and could drive up wagon ties. People can vote without that added concern
before you claimed, your vote was thought as real, except for me who knew. You could've used this to push your reads, because, as you yourself said, there are people who ignore your reads.

It boggles my mind how you can even THINK that it's a good idea to throw that potential away, like, even if I was mafia and had revealed that in maf chat, the majority in the game wouldn't know and you could see who reacts in what kind to that. That way you could even try to see if any mafia reveals to have too much information.

But claiming so soon and throwing all that away? With 'oh my reads are ignored anyway' that's just a wasted day for you, at least from your point of you, when you think that so many would ignore your reads

actually that situation would suit maf-brain a lot, thinking about it. Like intentionally invalidating his vote to just coast a day, and just post a lot of nonsense. I really don't like that. ##vote brainbomb

Oh yes you have the Couch Potato don't you.
Thanks for the reminder.

Your vote still matters as a lasting indication of your suspicions, however.
I disagree. We will know he had couch potato. We will inspect his reads not his votes on D2. I support brain and all future couch potatoes to vote nokill
that is why I declared so late on Day one

that is why I didn't reveal (and didn't plan to reveal until much later)

that is why I don't understand why brain claimed so early despite it being in the thread that is should be not claimed too early
What is why? I'm against keeping potatoes secret. I support revealing and tracking them. Mafia can't hold them forever and they must eventually get rid of them. Both couch and hot potatos. In my post I only want brain to vote somewhere else and implicitly defend revealing couch potato for future holders.

Unlike your team we don't know each other and everyone has a different opinion on who aligns what. What if we can't overstack, and with the hurry of the EoD, we make a mistake, crosspost or anything? Does it help when couch potato votes, no, then why add further confusion? Just vote on something silly or even better, no kill.

hypothetical

you've gotten the couch potato
you immediatly claim at the time you got the PM
everyone knows you can't do jack shit for the next day phase

what have we learned? What is the incentive to do anything for those phases? People will just ignore you, or at least feel no danger from you. You can't really impact decisions.

I'm not against revealing, and not against avoiding any ties. Feel free to vote 'no kill' after you've claimed.

But with the threat alone of your vote, and the information if people knew who shouldn't, you can get information about others. I don't say "do not claim". I'm saying "claim towards the end of the day". 15, 10 minutes before EoD would be great. Earlier if you can't be there for EoD. But it gives such a card blanc to just do nothing when you claim early

Youre still talking about it. This must have been VERY important to your overall gameplan and its excrutiatingly annoying I didnt do what you expected or wanted worcej to just do.

Which tells me you are either really super obsessed with the idea worcej was mafia and his ability to save himself wouldve been diminished

Or that you were really certain worcej was gonna be a miskill and his ability to do anything to help himself wouldve been more challenging. No matter how he claimed the cp you wouldve had this angle that he claimed too soon or claimed too late.

the lazy read about me? You even forgot about me for a part there! And your other maf reads are bad too! What about the stuff you just posted multiple times? And the totally unrelated flavour things?

you feel totally out of whack, and while I first thought that's probably because you just subbed in, it feels much more that you just fail the town vibe check and struggle to find your footing

Yeah you got a point I must agree with this. Though then you stayed on a lead wagon, potentially impacting people's decisions.

you have an awfully low expectation of the other players. When did we ever tie a vote when we knew that shenanigans could be around

and sorry if you're bad at the game and haven't identified at least one other town by now, but I'm pretty sure that dip and Dream are town, so eff off with your stupid implication that I'm mafia

what are you talking about? You are clever and smart and you surly must've noticed that it's just bad to claim that early for your power to push people. The brain I know isn#t that dumb.

And as i said, I gave the potato to worcej because I thought he had high chances to be mafia, at the time. After a bit I reevaluated and thought that worcej would do that as town too, so I kinda regreted it. But now I think I might've accidentally stroke gold.

Do I look like someone with a plan?
