Can somebody summarize the fabricated tie you tried to make on D1. I tried to read but it's impossible to read the entire day in one sitting. I read kak's couch potato claim and and end of day messages, I can understand why you would tie it but it seems like there was no consensus for it.
Given Kak's vote was null, Dip's switch near the EoD breaks the tie and makes ND the lead, and only leaving to someone else after ND wagon attracts another player. This is strange behavior especially since himself is the second leading wagon.

Dip tried to get people to tie in order to see if Kak was lying or not

He also used this as a reason to vote for miminena after they said they had the SP:

ok since nobody seems to understand my soft i currently hold the sweet potato and thus if i am voted out there will be no dk and we will lose the sweet potato

No. The tied vote would first resolve as no one dying (without referencing whether or not either player is holding the sweet potato).

idk man. i have revealed my suspicions of control v but i don't think there's much to go off on anybody as of right now. for me at least, i don't have a real idea of what a good plan is

I think most of us don't have any plan, we just wing it. The more you let go of some restraints you have, the more natural and intuitive the game becomes. Maybe that's not your style for the game, but going away from having strict thought out plans to just be natural helped my game (at least i think it did)

haven't seen much of paste too, as a new player here (though experienced on other platforms), so how would you go on to have a deeper look? Mine is normally just asking that person, but I think you should do more too if someone is sus to you.

So in that thought of train: @Control V what are your thoughts about Red's suspicion of you? Do you think Red is more likely mafia or town? And, since I can't remember you saying anything in that regard, what are your top town and/or (best and) mafia reads, currently?

More likely mafia off PoE and expecting more wolves to be wolftelling.

I Still trust Bunny with Jamie second place.

i had no hot potatoes during night one

All I know is the potatoes randomly activate on some night and have a 25% chance after that to explode

I assumed that happened before I passed them off? Did I kill ghug on accident ?

Did you pass ghug your D1 HP?

No. What happened was that I thought that the potatoes went off before passing them (which is correct) and then when I saw ghug had died I thought I had been mistaken.

I gave my Day 1 potato to Jamie, and I assume he gave me his back, and it seems I also got Bunny's?

There would have most likely been multiple deaths if a potato killed Ghug.

I also didn’t know I could nominate a backup toss so that other potato is someone random now I guess?

It is also amazing that, despite all of the above, Chaqa hasn't actually been the most useless player so far.

In my defense I have a small child and I forgot about the game all of day 1 basically

You would know if there were too many claims.

You would have no means of finding out who was lying. When you receive a hot potato, you are not told who passed it to you.

Therefore the risk is quite small unless precisely this were to happen:

- Everyone starting the game with a hot potato honestly claimed it D1, and no-one stayed silent, AND:
- Exactly one Mafia fake claimed a hot potato they didn't actually have.

...which is quite an edge case.

If we do what I have suggested and have everyone announce who they passed potatoes to one phase delayed, we will have a good chance of finding out about any fake claims.

Okay. I started the game with a Hot Potato and on D1 I passed it to Chaqa.

At EoD1 I obtained two hot potatoes and if I survive D2, I will say where they went.
